Hey there January Surgery Folks: Isn't it hard to believe that in a few more days/weeks we will all be approaching our one year surgery anniversary? Let's all take a moment and think back of what our lives where like one year ago and were we all are today. I know I am so thankful for this life changing surgery each and every day. So to all of us soon celebrating our one year surgiversary I want to extend my congratulations to all of us! All the best to everyone in 2008.

Thanks Debbie!! This has truly been a blessed year for me. I am so thankful to God that He allowed me to have this surgery and to come thru it with out any complications. This year has flown by and it almost does not seem real that I am almost half the person I was this time last year! Thanks for the Congratulations and the same too you!!

Thanks Debbie, to you too. We have come so far from those people we all were last year at this time. For me I feel truly blessed and thank God everyday for giving me this chance at a new life. I have to say I am truly amazed whenever I see pictures of me now or glance into a mirror. I am like wow is that me...lol. I knew this person was in there. Anna

I keep thinking how wonderful it has been, losing weight and finding the person I knew was deep inside me! Life is so much more fun now that I can physically enjoy it with my family. Thanks for the great post!

today is my one year anniversary. it was definately a long/hard year, but well worth it. not only did i lose 173lbs. but i also finished nursing school and received the florence nightingale award. i couldnt have done it without this life saving surgery! i am so happy to have my life back and be able to be here for my boys and husband!
