I havn't been able to post the last couple Mondays but here are my current stats...

Loss- 4lbs
13lbs to go until goal.
I am working on getting some updated photos out on my profile. I can't believe I am down to a size 8. I don't think I ever was a size 8. I think I skipped all those small sizes even as a teen. This is such a blessing.

I am going crazy!! I have not lost ANYTHING all MONTH!!!! I keep bouncing around the same 3lbs. Going from 217 to 220 then back to 218 then back to 220.... A vicious cycle. UGH!!! Im afraid my body may wanna stay at 220. Thats the smallest I ever was in my whole adult life and thats when I was about 20 yrs old. If I dont get below 200 soon Im gonna go nuts!!

Are you eating enough? Track on Fitday. com and see how many calories and protein you are eating.
This past week... I was sticking something in my mouth every 2-3 hours, (I'm home recovering from surgery) I must have really got my metabolism going cause I lost 3lbs last week.. I was scared to get on the scale. I felt like I was grazing. But it was on Beef Jerky, chicken, cheese... all the right stuff.
You might be surprised! I CAN'T eat alot at one sitting, but I can eat OFTEN. Make sense?
Don't get discouraged...You have done a great job!! Just keep focused.

Thanks Stacy. Actually I dont use fitday because I cant figure it out!! I do measure my food most of the time and wont go over a cup of anything. But I feel like I can eat a lot at one sitting. A whole sandwich seems like alot to me. And I could eat a whole lean cuisine months ago! Its so sacry to think about gaining weight back. Thats my biggest fear.

If you dont like fitday.. try www.sparkpeople.com That is another one I do... I journal and log in my weight all the time. It does help.
That's good that you measure.. I dont measure.
Just keep in mind everyone is different.. I have a good friend that had this surgery too and she can eat more than me at a sitting , but she doesnt eat as often as me, my weight loss is quicker than hers but we dont compare ourselves, we have two totally different bodies. We carry our weight different and the whole works.
Keep measuring. Snack on high protein stuff. Drink your water.

I never thought I would get below 200 either. It seems like a common stumbling weight. Are you keeping an accurate record of what you eat including protein amounts and calories. This helps me stay aware. I am a big proponent of the 5 day pouch test too if for no other reason than to step away from carbs. Remember pasta and bread do not love us! Don't forget to get all the water you can in. I really think lots of water makes a huge difference.

Thanks Katy. I cant figure fitday out, but I do try to keep an estimate by reading labels. I eat bread, but its whole wheat and low carb tortillas. Most of my carbs come from fruit or vegies. I just feel like I can eat alot at a sitting. I dont, but then Im not satisfied so I wanna eat again soon. I thought about the 5 day test, but I dont think I could go 2 days with just liguids. I never even had to do that for or after surgery. I hope the scale moves soon and its not over for me.
