onederland!!!
i have not been here in a while (i have made it to my last 2 weeks of nursing school so have had little time for much else), but i just had to share my onederland moment with yall. i also have never posted my beginning weight before, but i will this time. im finally beginning to accept my new body. i still dont see the big change that everyone else does when i look in the mirror, but luckily the clothing sizes dropping helps me keep track.(i quit my job of 12 years to go to school a week before i had surgery and i have had people that i worked with for the 12 years see me recently and not have a clue who i was when i spoke to them until i told them my name.) ok here it goes ...
highest weight 353 (the week before surgery)
surgery weight 346
current weight 198
total loss -155lbs
That is awesome, thanks for sharing. Good luck in your new careers. You are going to have a lot more energy and definite passion for helping others after going through this surgery.
I see you are in the Dallas area...if you ever get a chance, we would love for you to come to our Terrell Support group. We meet every other Saturday @ the Starbucks in Terrell, near the Tanger Outlet Mall. Our next meeting is this Saturday @ 9AM. I can add you to the eVite if you are interested. There is also another great group of women in Allen, they meet every other Saturday and once a month on a Wed/Thurs at the Allen Outlet Mall area. Our group meets once a month in Rockwall for a mid-day lunch/dinner on the Harbor also.
Hugs,
Lindy
Congrats on making it to onderland!! U have really worked your tool!! And on stepping out there and quitting your job of 12 years to go to school full time!! That is awesome!! And congrats too on almost being done with school!! You have had a wonderful year and I can see things only getting better for you!! Keep up the good work!
Yippy for Onederland!! And WOW....you've lost 155 pounds?? That is amazing! And, to top that off you are two weeks from finishing nursing school? I am so jealous...I can't apply until the fall . I, too, have had people that I have known for years not know who I was...it's kinda fun, and kinda weird at the same time.
Check in more often if you can...we love hearing about peoples progress and the changes in their lives.
