January 2007 Surgiversary Challenge **Sign Up Here**
Ok here it is, I'll post mine below so you all have an example, post your goals and what you plan to do to help reach those goals. I will post a new thread weekly so we can update eachother on our progress, congratulate & motivate. Good Luck!
My Goal: I have 27 lbs. left to be at my personal goal of 156 which would be 1/2 my former weight of 312. While it would be awesome and I will strive to lose the 27lbs, my goal for this challenge is to lose 20lbs by my surgiversary date of 1/15.
To reach my goal I plan to exercise every day, alternating days, doing a mile on the treadmill 4x per week and doing my weights and exercise ball routine 3x per week. I also plan to eliminate most carbs, step up my protein and water intake and most of all make sure I'm getting my vitamins in.
Best of Luck to All!
(and remember this isn't a competition, but a personal challenge to ourselves to be accountable and help reach our goals!)
I also found this log sheet on about.com that I plan to use, it is geared towards walking and since I plan to use the treadmill I think it'll work out great for me. The diet portion looks good too, feel free to use it of you all would like!

Hi McKenzie!! Here are my surgiversery goals
1) Weigh in at 163.5 or less by Janurary 31, 2007 (Current Weight as of Sunday, November 25 was 179.4) So I would like to loose at last 15.9 pounds by then.
2) to reach my goal I plan to
continue to work out at least 4 days a week
increase the intenstity of my cardio work out
Drink at least 80 ounces of water a day
continue to resist these ever growing stronger to snack on bad food choices
Get in my supplements on a daily basis
stop eating when I feel the first signs of fullness in my pouch
Okay, ladies...I finally figured out something that I need to work on:
*My goal is to take ALL of my vitamins EVERY day like I am supposed to! I have been a bit lax with getting them in lately...Bad girl!! In my defense, I do take most of them...just not all in one day like I should. Anyway, this goal is effective immediately!
I have been at/under goal for almost a month now, so losing more weight isn't really as pressing an issue as before. Besides, if I lose anymore I will be into a size 2...there is no selection for a size that small! I would rather stay at a 4 and get plastics for a flat tummy!

I just bought a pair of jeans there yesterday but in a 4. I generally have the best luck finding pants of all kinds at Target. I hadn't really been looking for jeans until lately. The juniors fit everywhere except the tummy...they are always cut wayyyy too low for this flabby belly of mine! Also, I want to say that JC Penney has small sizes, as well. Have you tried Old Navy?
Sheesh...I'm sorry! I forgot that you were petite. I guess that I should consider myself lucky that everything off the rack is long enough for me, and seldom too long. I'll keep my eye out for you...
Oh, do you have TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or Ross where you are? I know that they usually have a pretty extensive petite section.
