Finally uploaded photos to my profile....
Hi all,
I finally uploaded some pics to my profile and created an avatar. Also uploaded my weight tracker from the new OH weight tracker thingy.
Avatar's not the greatest, but was the most recent picture I could find. I was freezing to death at my son's soccer game last Saturday. Took me about 4 hours to thaw out after I got home.
Thanks for being my WLS January buddies!!! Y'all are such an encouragement for me.

Margaret,
YYEEAAAAHHH!! we get to put a face with a name finally!
Your pics look great and you have done so awesome!! You and your daughter look like twins!! If you would not have specified, I would not have known who was who.
I agree with Janie...your avatar pic is wonderful. I love candid "not looking at the camera" pics.
Keep up the great work!
Stacy
Yep, I'm way overdue with pictures. I'm just a techno spaz I couldn't figure it out until now.
My sweet daughter in the pic with me had lap band surgery 4 months before my bypass surgery. Unfortunately she has not had any success with the lap band. We're hoping she can somehow afford a revision to bypass some time in the future. She's really envious of my weight loss and that just makes me so sad for her.
Thanks for your encouragement. Y'all are such a blessing for me.

Janie,
She's still getting fills - so she's not quite at full capacity. It's a long story. In a nutshell, she lives overseas most of the time. She had the surgery done in the UAE - doctor there only filled her to 2 cc's and said no more. Fast forward to the past year here at "home" - she saw my surgeon last spring and he started her over again, sent her to see the nut, etc, and started filling her. But still no success with weight loss. I'm afraid she's learned to "work" the band - eating slow but frequently, drinking while eating, etc. RNY would have been a better option from the beginning, but she was self pay and none of us had the $ to pay for it. Breaks my heart. She moves back to Central Asia mid-December. I'm hoping once she gets back to life there - without the temptation of the USA's excesses and abundance of food and restaurants, the band may work a little better and she'll find some success.
Thanks for caring!
Margaret
