Thanks for your encouragement. I've been going through some personal stuff so I think that's what's making me reach for the carbs. They fixed my stomache but not my head!!
I know I can sometimes be so hard on myself (as we all can)
but i do need to be stricter.
Oh well, there's aways 2008!

Here is wishing you some good luck in knocking those carbs out of your diet for the week, or at least minimizing them. You know, the funny thing for me when I have just one or two pieces of halloween candy with chocolate, I get tired and start thinking why did I do that...then I go for 2-3 days without wanting any and then the urge hits again. I don't like the tired feeling at all...and it's usually while I am at work and really needing to concentrate. So I guess everything just effects us all different.
We like to here people vent and tell us their experience, because you know that's what helps us be accountable and get the encouragement to stay strong in our heads and get back to the basic rules of the pouch. And I definitely agree with Stephanie and Janie...I don't think a muffin over a week is bad at all.

Hey Lindy, I am the same way with candy...when I give in to the temptation I feel so bad and about it and then I am ok with out for a few days and the urge comes right back to me. I dont really get tired from it but I do want more later...and it is so weird that I could not have cared less if I had it before but now it is just in the fore front of my thoughts. I hope it is just because it is laying around every where and I see it and it makes me want it. Usually out of site out of mind works for me. And you are so right in that hearing others vent helps let me know I am not alone and I am not crazy and it does hold us accountable to share with others. Thanks for posting this!
Good morning. I think this is the first time I made a monday morning weigh in. So far I'm doing good. My 6th month check up was over the phone, no 9 month check up and the Dr. said he would see me in January for my one year. That all seemed a bit strange but oh well.

I have not been here for a few weeks so I reall dont remember what I weighed last time here ... yesterday I weighed 149!!! Today I weigh 150 .. WHAT GIVES! I hope to get back to the 140's soon ... I too have been eating carbs too much again and I need to break the habit .. that was always my problem to begin with, I also have been going to starbucks everyday, I order a SF cinnamon dolce latte and usually it is a venti .. that is around 200 calories ... so GOODBYE STARBUCKS & CARBS .. i want to lose 15 pounds by January 15th ... my surgiversary
