I was able to resist eating any candy for halloween....until Sunday! LOL Then I had a fun size snickers and some candy corn. But I figure that this time last year, I would have eaten an entire bag of candy not just two fun size thing, so in comparison, it was not so bad on Sunday.I ate them with my meal too. It also scares me that on Saturday, I felt insatiable too....even though I had just eaten, it was like I still want more more more. I dont want to go back to my old eating habits as well, so we can continue to encourage each other thru this and we will make and not go back! We have come to far and just have to continue to be strong. And I believe you will get to your goal weight. It takes time but look how much you have lost so far!! that is a great accomplishment. I can still wear a size 20 in some pants too. I have a range of size 10 to 20 right now..it depends on who makes them. Last thing....you lost 7 and gained 1...that is still a net of 6 pounds lost in one week!! That is wonderful!! Dont be discouraged and keep working your tool!

Thanks Stephanie. Im not stresin too much on the candy cause I was never a sugar junkie pre-op so I know its not gonna be a trigger and have me jonesin for candy now. What I worry about is everything else!! Im really having to struggle lately to not eat!! I try to eat healthy stuff when I do munch, but man, its frustrating. I find myself always wanting to munch. A graham cracker with PB now, some SF jello a few minutes later..half a persimmon... Im soooo afraid to gain any weight back..or not get close to goal. Like for dinner tonight I had 2 thin sliced boneless porkchops, about 1 T of zuchinni, and about 2T of sweet potato. You'd think that would have filled me up for hours. Nope. A little while later I hit the jello. And I can eat quite a bit of jello. I am glad I kept off 6 of the 7lbs. lol Lets hope no more come back this week!! Mary

Well I seem to be losing again, or maybe its from being sick. I have gotten sick twice in a one month time span. My mom said its because im "skinny". Thought I would never hear that in a lifetime. HW-290 SW-284 LW-213 TW-210 Loss-3.0 pounds. Only 10 more until onderland. The countdown is on! Have a fabulous week everyone. ~M

Waving a hello to everyone! I'm finally feeling better following my hysterectomy (and various other repairs) 3 weeks ago. I've had a few bumps in the road - had trouble absorbing the pain meds (ended up doing liquid vicodin, then cutting the pills into 1/4s for better absorption), then developed a massive UTI -the meds for that messed up my pouch and intestinal tract big time. But I'm on the mend now. Here's my stats: SW 271 LW (actually 3 weeks ago) 189 (though I ballooned up to 198 immediately post-op) CW 183 TWL -88 Stephanie, thanks for the link for the 5 day pouch test. I'm planning to do that after my 6 week check up. Mary, if you're reading this, I'm planning on emailing you about the surgery. Don't be scared - the hyster itself wasn't bad. It was my "repairs" which gave me the most trouble. Have a great day! Margaret

You are most welcome!! Let me know how you like the pouch test. I found that I am more in tune with my pouch and notice the feeling of fullness a lot sooner. I am glad you are beginning to feel better from your recent surgery!! Take care Steph

Ok so I know it is Wednesday morning, I am totally late on posting. And I have not been posting in a while. I am desperatly trying to raise a teenager and it is just taking every bit on energy- mental- that I have. Oh Lindy! Size 6, wow! I need to come get your size 8 and 10's. Highest weight 250 Surgery weight 236 Last week 235 This week 232 Goal weight was 125, but I'm not sure now, I have lost too much on my face and I don't want to look ill. I also am feeling boney, and I don't want to loose anymore weight in my face! But I still have some fat left around the middle, I can't really tell how much is fat and how much is skin that needs to go go go. Oh if only I had 50K laying around.

Hey Kimberly: I was just telling my surgeon today that my face looks too thin and weird!! I can totally relate to that. I have more weight to lose on my thighs but it keeps leaving the top. And I feel you on extra cash for plastic surgery too...I want to get so many different things done. Good to see you and I also feel you on trying to raise a teenager..I have a 16 year old daughter and grey hair popping up every day.

Hey there, glad to see you posting...I have missed hearing from you. I thought of you today out our Terrell Troopers support group meeting we had over in Rockwall. There were about 15 of us. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Three of my angelettes...well I call them that because I was there Angel were there and then their angelettes, etc. We had some new people researching the SLEEVE surgery. I couldn't remember at the time if you had Dr Alexander or Dr Davidson. Everyone there except 1 Lapbander and 1 pre-op, and 1 - DS'er were Dr Barker patients. We meet every other Saturday in Terrell @ the Starbucks, we have now met in Rockwall twice. This week was a last minute throw together to get some information to 2 new people needing help/advice who are about to have the Sleeve surgery. I have found that the support groups are so important, even if it is just socializing. Everyone brings something new to talk about every time with regards to the surgery. BTW, I only have the one pair of jeans that are a size six. I am still actually liking the way the size 8's fit. I only have about a handful of pants because I didn't want to buy anything. Most of my too big stuff has already been handed down to the girls in my group who had surgery later than me. But if I hear of anyone passing some down, I will keep you in mind. BTW, I think you meant to post that your weight is 132, not 232. Well, I am glad to see you posting and hear that you are doing so well. Hugs, Lindy
