I have the same issue with low rise jeans! With the skirt of hanging skin around my "low rise" area they are NOT attractive on me at all!
Sorry I haven't posted lately. I have come to check the board out frequently, but have not found time to go in and post, so this week I'm back on track.
I am doing well in the way of eating. I find that I am still having issues eating anything with a lot of flavor. I am certainly much more picky about the foods I eat these days, and I am still getting pretty sick when I eat potatoes of any kind, which may work out to be a good thing... especially since I loved potatoes so much before WLS. These days I'm still eating small portions, but I am not doing very good with getting my water and protein in. That is something I really really need to work on. The weight still seems to be coming off pretty steady, but most of my family and friends are telling me not to lose any more weight because they say I will look sick if I lose anything more. I am as small now as I have ever been. So, I feel great even if I don't lose another pound, but would like to get down to 138 which is my personal goal. At 5'5" though it may be a bit too skinny especially since I'm pretty big boned, but we'll see where my body levels out at.

Happy Monday everyone. I seem to be on this every other week check in schedule this past month. I've been so busy with trying to get moved in and settled that time is getting away from me.
I felt like I had stalled out and not lost anything since my last check in 2 weeks ago but, when I went back and looked I realized I had lost 1.4 lbs...I'll take it!!
I think I had my first and biggest wow moment this past week. I needed pants because it's getting a bit nippy at times for shorts here lately. The kids and I were walking through the mall and I decided for the fun of it I would go into Old Navy and try on a pair of jeans. I knew my size 16 shorts had been falling off of me and I had one pair of 14's that fit...so I thought maybe I could try on a 12 (thinking they will be tight) and then for the hell of it I'll take a pair of 10's with me and see just how far I have to go before they will fit. So I go in the dressing room and decide I will start with the 10's...I slip them right on AND they ZIP!! No need to even try to suck in or lay up against the wall!! whoo hoo! So I walked out to show the boys and my oldest, who is 18 said "wow Mom!! You look...ummmm...uhhh...." so I said "what?? Mom looks Hot?!?!?!" haha He said "well...yeah....but, moms aren't suppose to look like that" haha We got a good laugh out of it and I came home with 3 pairs of size 10 jeans. I guess 38 year olds can still be hot and wear hip, chick 20 year old clothes, huh? Though Otis *****meyer has NOTHING on my muffin top. I could start a bakery franchise with this thing!!!

I have been going through the same thing this week! I was beginning to freak out. I'm not glad were having it per se, but, I'm glad to know that you are having the same thing I am...especially coming from someone who walks a tight line...I have so admired you through this whole journey...you are so diligent. I'm just glad to know I'm not abnormal. I feel like my hunger in general..but, especially for junk, has come at me full force. I had this happen to me one time before and it lasted about a week and then was gone overnight...I'm really beginning to wonder if it's not hormone related.
I hope we can get through this together...just know your not alone.
