Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Well, this week was not so great, well it was good I lost and did not gain so that is a good week! I lost .6 pounds this and I am still working out and still trying to make wise food decisions. The honey moon is definitely over and I am starting to really crave sweets and have been having a few bites here and there. Also, I noticed this week that after I eat, even though I feel full, I still want to eat. I dont eat anything else, but the "head hunger" is there and it is very scray to me. That is the way I was pre surgery and I dont want to go back down that road again. I would eat but not be satisfied and then eat something else and then later something else. And I would eat this way all day. I have still be able to control the times that I eat, only eating at my appointed times and not snacking or grazing between my meals...but it is definitely becoming harder to do. I will continue to be in prayer for strength to not give in to these temptations and continue to have a safe, successful and uneventful life long weight loss surgery journey.

Mornin' Ladies,
I've had a big problem with grazing too and I've definitely been eating too many carbs. I'm on day 4 of the 5 day pouch test (http://www.5daypouchtest.com/index.html) and I've lost 3 pounds (yay!). About a month ago, I was down to 178, but it crept back up to 180 and just stayed there.

Good Monday Morning, Stephanie and my January Lovelies!! I guess I'm jumping into the same boat with you, Steph...although I actually think I might need to. Ack! Did I just say that? I seem to be losing at a pretty rapid rate for how far out I am and I'm starting to get a little concerned that I am going to lose too much. Yesterday I had dropped down to 146, so that made a 3 pound loss since last Monday, and I am on my cycle, too...so I probably have or will have lost even more by the time this couple of days is over as I always lose more weight around my cycle. Anyway, I tried to eat a little more last night to slow the loss, and it seems to have helped a bit, but I'm retaining water, too, so who knows what the scale really wants to say. That said, here's my numbers:
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 149
Today: 147 (146.1 yesterday)
Loss this week: -2.0
Total loss: 104.5
BMI: 23.7
Goal: 150...3 pounds under goal and getting a bit boney
On a different note...where in the heck is everyone???? It's pretty bare around here! Come on ladies....come out and post!!!!

Ah, thanks Lori. My husband actually thought that I should try to stop losing about 10 pounds ago. It doesn't seem to be stopping on it's own yet, so I'll let it go until around 142 and see if it stops. If not...I need to eat a lot more. I am too large boned and too tall to be any thinner...it just looks like malnourishment on my frame.
Hey Boney!! I feel you on that too...even though I am a ways from my surgeons goal....I can feel my hip bones all the time when I walk or put my arms at my side. It is such a weird feeling! I think quite a few of the ladies have gotten to goal and are busy enjoying life so much that doing the weekly weighs in is not so interesting to them now. But any way...Glad the ones who are posting are still around!
