GOOOAAALLLL!!!!!
Hey Suz!!!!!! Congratulations on reaching your goal!! I am so excited for you! And I don't think it is lame to take a picture of the scale and post on your page....I took pictures of the scale when I reached the century club and onderland and have them both on my phone and in my photo album...I was going to post on my page to but got lazy!
This surgery has definitely been a blessing for me as well and I share in your gratitude. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful event with us and congrats to you again!!
Congrats girl. Wonderful job. Don't worry, you toot that horn as much as you want. Lord knows I am tooting mine now too. I just pushed over to the Century Club and made it to my original goal of 100lbs loss. So I can definitely understand right now exactly what you felt when you posted this.
And if I had a camera on me when I was weighing, I sure would have taken a picture. My hubby thinks that I am a camera hog now. I can't help it, it allows me to see the 10 lbs loss, or whatever, etc per month that just doesn't seem real when you just look at the numbers. I have to see the pictures to disect them and see where I need to focus.
Glad you had a great week last week!
Hugs,
Lindy
When I saw those numbers on the scale, I bolted down the hallway to grab the camera before the scale turned off! My son just laughed at me...he's just a twiggy thing, so the excitement over losing weight is lost on him. He'd love to be as "fat" as I am! And as for you, reaching the Century Club milestone is definately something to scream and cheer about!!!
Way To Go Suz,
I know just how good you feel. I am sure your hubby doesn't mind you buying clothes. I know he is so proud of you. My hubby loves to take me clothes shopping and actually has good taste! I was thrilled to lose 101 pounds also. I have maybe 6 to go to my personal goal. But if I never lose those I will just remember where I was 9 months ago. Also remember if it wasn't for the extra skin you are most likely at 142. I am so glad I chose this route. As for the picture taking of the scale I have taken pictures every time I hit a new 10 pound number since the 200's. 190's, 180's and on down to the 130's next the 120's Hee Hee. I am glad we all did this journey together.
God Bless!!
Your (way on the other coast) Jan. OH friend.
Roxanne
Hey, Roxanne...thanks for the congrats. I know what you mean about not being too worried about losing any more weight. I am beyond pleased to be where I am, and if the skin were gone...I would be on cloud nine still! It is now coming off slowly but surely, so 142 may still be where I end up, and in addition, the fat that is still hanging around seems to keep moving around. One day it seems like I have a roll in one place, and the next day it has moved somewhere else! It's crazy! Eventually the loss will stop and so will the relocating of fat and no matter what happens...I will be a much happier, healthier "me" than I was 9 months ago.
Oh yeah...and I'm sure that the absurd pics of the scale will keep on coming...I just can't help myself! LOL
