Okay, ladies...I rarely post a thread on any subject...but today I just can't help myself!! This post will be dedicated to shamelessly tooting my own horn! I wanted to meet my weightloss goal by Halloween and as of this morning....I DID IT!!! I even have 5 days to spare!! Also, that means that I have lost 101.5 pounds. It seems so amazing to me that it has taken less than 9 months to do this. I was so excited to see "150.0" on the scale that I took a photo and posted it on my profile...lame, huh?? Ultimately, I now feel healthy, look sooo much better, and I have infinately more energy than I have had in many years...I was too young to feel so old! I look forwar to every day and what it has to offer, for me and my family alike. This surgery has given me new life...or maybe just given back the life that I should have had all along. Either way...I am full of gratitude today. Have a fantastic and charmed day!! ~Suz

Yay! Way to go Suz!!! I think you are the first of us Jan. 2007-ers to get to goal! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I guess there's only one thing to do now---go shopping! Hugs, Katy

Thanks, Katy!! And believe me...I have been doing more than my share of shopping! Although, I'm getting to the point now where I refuse to spend any more money on pants because they are still getting too big after only a couple of weeks!

Duh...can't I spell? That should say "I look forward to every day" not "forwar". Ugh...that drives me crazy not to be able to edit!!

Suzanne's going to pass up her goal!!!!!!! You go girl. Maybe you'll be like Janie and not only go past it but keep going and going and going. But stay healthy...K? I am so happy for you! And by the way, we are still twinkies...I'm 150 too, but I set my goal at 138 because I'm a little shorter than you, so we'll see how much longer that takes. Lori

Yeah, I have had a feeling for a while that I might pass by 150, but I really thought that it would be more because I wasn't satisfied with it, not because my body wanted to be at a lower weight. So, I'm still thinking that 142 might be the magic number...at least my handy-dandy weight chart says so!

Thanks for the cheers, Stacy! And, believe me, 169 is nothing to sneeze at. I know that you have worked just as hard as I have to get where you are. Soon enough it will be your day to let us all know how ecstatic you are for reaching your goal, too. On a side note...I love that little green face with the tongue...I try to use that little guy every chance I get!! I am such a royal dork!
