Hey everyone.. thought I would share.... Has anyone tried Hormel Compleats?? I found them like by the tuna, hormel chili, taco seasoning stuff. They are little dinners. Come in about 30 different kinds... Ive tried two now... chicken and mash potatos and steak tips with mash potatos. Here are the nutrition facts: Cal. 210 , Fat 3, carbs 24, And PROTEIN 21g. Sodium pretty high, but my PA says dont worry about anything other than protein! Nice little fast hot meal. Some girls that are on weigh****chers eat them. Also I tried something different for a drink... get bored with flavored water, etc... 1 frozen can of lite cranberry juice, 1 liter of 7 up... then the res****er... (takes the fizz away) but still has a little of a kick... almost like a punch... Just thought I would share!!! Stacey

Thanks for the heads up, Stacey. I am always looking for something new to eat that is quick and doesn't involve actually cooking a meal that I can't eat most of! And, I am SICK TO DEATH of South Beach frozen meals!! The punch sounds good, too...but I am worried a little about the sugar factor (I dump)...what would you say that it has per serving?

See that was my problem also... sick of frozen meals... There is 10oz per serving... Once Ive aten the whole thing, but it definetly fills you up... other times I concentrate on the meat then the other stuff in it... There is a beef stew one, chicken and dumplings, chicken and veggies... several different beef ones... and pork ones... all have alot of protein in it. Hope you find them!! There NOT frozen... there in little round countainers. Takes 90 seconds to heat up!! There really good!

Should have read all your post before I answered... lol Well I use diet 7up... (I miss carbonation) but the water pretty much takes that out... The frozen lite cranberry I got said 9 sugars per 8 oz .... well I drink about 4 oz at a time... anything over 10 makes me ill.... The other night I was desperate for some ice cream.... LOL I was doing good on my calories for the day and thought I deserved a treat.... oh boy.... I had a schawns crunch bar (13g sugar) ... BIG MISTAKE.. NEVER AGAIN!! Didnt puke.. but for about 1/2 hour I was laying on the couch moaning like a baby, sweating, shaking... got up and dumped the other direction... WAS NOT WORTH IT!!!!! Oh well live and learn... LOL

Man you're not kidding- I still have more south beach in the freezer and I am sooo sick of it. I think I saw the Compleats at WalMart- thanks I'll have to check them out!!! Holly

Stacy, I have a couple of those in my drawer at work for when I am just tired of eating the same old. I am going to have to try that drink though. Are you using diet 7-up or reg? Anna
