Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Why question it when it's good?
I was doing the happy dance this morning. It sure made my day!
I had a week a few weeks back where I lost 4 lbs and then the next week I lost another 3. I liked it (of course) but at the same time I was like...ok so what's up with this?? I expect 1-2 lbs a week, but certainly no more than that at this point. And if it's less...we won't even go there. It's crazy how I've become so greedy when it comes to weight loss. I am nearing a "normal" range BMI for my height so a this point my goal is just to be "normal"...Normal for me will be 150 lbs. I can't wait!
I have to be honest, its very discouraging when I read these posts. Everyone has lost so much more weight than I have. I have been flirting with the same five pounds for over 2 months now. I need to get my act together. This week I gained 1 lb, but I have my period, so thats pretty much par for the course. Hopefully I will have a loss next week.

Hey Jennifer: Thanks for posting even when it is discouraging for you. There is probably someone else out there who comes on the board and does not post because they feel like they are not losing as much as they should be. But then they will see your post and be encouraged that they are not alone. I am going to send you a email on the back line later today so I will chat with you then. Dont give up!!
Hey, Jen....I know that you have heard this a million times...but we all lose at different rates. As long as you are doing what your program tells you to do, the loss will continue. You may just be one of those that loses very slowly, but will continue to lose well into their second and third year. I have seen a few grads who have had that experience. Just keep posting and checking in so that we can encourage and support you!
Good Monday Morning, January Lovelies! I haven't been around much this week...between feeling a little under the weather, "that" time, and studying like crazy for two tests coming up on Wed. in A&P, I have had no time for leisure. But...somehow I did manage to have a fantastic week for loss!! I have no idea how I did it...but I'll take it!! Here's my numbers for the week:
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 157.2
Today: 153.4
Loss this week: 3.8 WTH????
Total loss: 98.1
BMI: 24.7
So, that puts me about 3 1/2 pounds from goal. Wow...it seems to have gone by so quickly...almost 9 months already. Well...I have to say that I wish more ladies were checking in....it's really nice when we can keep in touch and encourage one another even if it's just this one occassion each week. Hopefully more of you will come back out of hiding and start posting!! I miss you guys! In the meantime...have a great week ladies!!

Thank you...and yeah, I hoped that I would be lucky enough to make it back to where I originally started many years ago. So far, so good! I can't believe that my 6's are totally baggy on me already. I still have 10's that I'm trying to wear...but they are falling off me and I am too cheap to fork out more money on new pants! I have been borrowing my 110 lb. son's belt in the meantime...it's pretty fun to know that little thing fits me!
