Got an early start on the post today...too much studying kept me up! I had a decent day of eating. I made a yummy Sweet Potato Stew in the crockpot for dinner...it was goo-ood! Good morning Suz! Here's the damage for yesterday. B - Smartforme protein shake S - a handful of almonds (15 or so?) S - Protein drink L - 1/2 sandwich made w/ezekiel bread, 1tsp mayo, 3 thin slices roast beef, 2 thin slices lf cheese S - Nature valley granola bar S - Protein drink D - Chili tamale pie - about 1/4 cup (it was hubby's birthday - this is his favorite), 1 bit brownie w/ 1 T choc. chip mint ice cream - yum! Cal 1162, Fat 32g, Carbs 89g, Prot 109g Exercise - 55 min Firm cardio Have a great day, margaret

I love tamale pie!! Well, at least I did pre-op. I usually make it with a filling of a taco-type seasoned meat. I might have to try it with chili...sounds good.

Hi Suz - Glad to remind you of the sushi. I used to love it b/4 surgery as well and now I started to dabble with it again. here's my eats for monday - it was a bad day, was in a super long, frustrating meeting that set me off for the rest of the day coffee on the bus B - vanilla creme south beach bar - 19P L - lettuce , tomato, meat from inside 1/4 of italian here, 1 small bag of lays potato chips - I have not done that since b/4 surgery. 10P? S - cheese stick w/ pretzels and few nuts - 10P D - Tired and totally out of sorts by now........( 9pm is when I got to eat) bacon/onion/ mozzeralla cheese - topping from 1 slice of pizza 1/2 of small chili from Wendys. vitamins, coffee, propel water and ice tea - through out the day. all in not alot of food, just bad choices..... well there is tomorrow !! Well, Marta... on the positive side the protein bar at breakfast and the snack were really good choices! Even the chili was a good choice.

Happy Tuesday all B - Matrix Van. Cinn. Protein Chai S - nada L - 1/4c hummus w/cucumber slices and 1/4 pc pita bread S - nada D - tortilla chips w/salsa, 1/4 pc grilled chicken breast, 1 tbsp ea refried beans/rice w/3-4 tbsp guacamole S - Rockin Roll protein nut bar 1056 cal, 105pr 86carb 37fat 85oz water Exercise = eating out l/d with out of town in-laws lol Next time, half the nut bar :P Hope it is a wonderful, healthful day for all! Mmmm...hummus! That sounds really yummy...we used to eat a lot of that with baked pita chips before I had surgery. It always sounds good but I never know what in the heck to do with it other than slap it on a sandwich (but I don't eat bread anymore ).

ok I suck with food and eating so I hope this makes me accountable... Breakfast - Sf cinnamon dolce latte & shared about 1/2 pumpkin cream cheese muffin with my daughter Lunch- oops I forgot that one, oh wait 1/2 diet pepsi Snack - 1/4 cup trail mix without the M&M's Dinner - pork taco - corn tortilla with pork, cheese and sour cream Snack - homemade iced coffee - NASTY .. tossed it down the drain I did remember to take my vitamins though this is a very typical day for me .. so sad. My husband hates the way I eat!

I just remembered I ate an apple with Peanut butter for lunch! That looks MUCH better!!! LOL

That reminds me...we have some carnitas in the fridge that needs to get eaten...guess the kids and hubby will be having pork tacos tonight for dinner. Thanks for the reminder! It sure sounds good...but I can't seem to eat pork anymore . Is the pumpkin muffin homemade or bought? I would love to find a good recipe to add protein to.
