WEDNESDAY'S munchings

Here's the damage for Wed. B - Protein Shake L - Protein Smoothie S - Protein Shake D - A little less than 1/4 c ff refried beans topped with a little less than 1/4 c lean ground beef and a sprinkling of cheese S - Starbucks chocolate covered grahams (BOTH of them - there's 2 per package) S - 2 light cheese sticks dipped in 1 T hummus Cal 932, Fat 21g, Carb 54g, Prot 111g, drank all my water and took all vitamins except my last calcium dose. Exercise: 55 min. cardio scuplt workout (the FIRM), 30 min. (2miles) run/walk on the treadmill, 15 min on the eliptical, weight machines. And the scale is (drum roll) STUCK! Oh well. Hi - Wednesday's feeding was as follows - B - scrambled egg, bites of bacon, 3/4 sausage L- 3-lentil chili ( 1 cup) - not sure if there is enough protein in this, but it sure did give me gas the rest of the day :-l. s - cheesestick w/ pretzels D - chicken breast stuffed w/ wild rice ( ate about 1/2) rice really make me full quick. broccoli s - 5 wheat thins and cheese stick I have caught another cold and I seem to be hungrier than normal ?? water/ coffee/ ice tea through out the day and vitamins - I have basically stopped calcium - not good I need to get back on track with those. Margaret- How do you like the Firm cardio sculpt- do you alternate it with the strength one? Holly

Hi Holly, I do like the cardio sculp. It's a pretty hefty workout, both for cardio and strength training! Right now I'm alternating with the ab sculpt. I'm do strength training at the Y as well, so I'm not doing the "body sculpt" workouts right now. The FIRM is great for toning! I highly recommend it. Margaret

I've been doing the firm strength one every other day and I love it- I just cannot get motivated for the cardio one on the other day. I know it would help my loss considerably- but cardio really wipes me out!!! Guess that means I REALLY need to do it!!! Holly

I havent been too faithful with my calcium lately either. I take the citracal cramy bites and every store in town has quit carrying them for some reason!! I just ordered 4 boxes off drugstore.com. B 1 hard shell taco from a mexican place L ham and cheese on a whole wheat hamburger bun D steak strips w/ cabbage and tomatos ( about a cup) 1 slice of breaded, baked eggplant 2 corn nuggets I used to LOVE fried eggplant, so I tried to creat a healthier version. I sliced it, dipped it in egg and bread crumbs and baked it. YUCK!! No where near as good as fried. What a bummer. S protein bar I found a new protein bar called twisted. Its just like a take 5 bar. It has 190 calories and 15grams of protein. I got it at Target. Try it!!! Mary

I got mine at target. They have two kinds. One is chocolate one is peanut butter. They have 190 cal. 19 carbs and 15 proteins. I think thats pretty good compared to other protein bars Ive tried that didnt even taste good. There is another good one there by Kashi Go Lean called "Roll". Its good too. Its like crunchy little crispy things on the outside with a chocolate middle. Its the chocolate turtle flavor. Im real particular about my bars and shakes. I dont like very many of them. But these taste like candy bars!! Mary
