Looks like no one has posted their munchings since last Wednesday.....I've been out of town. Back now though. Checking in here has really helped me, so I'll plan on keeping this thread up. I'm going to add my workout routing because I need some accountability there. I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy on 10/17 (my 8 mo. surgiversary) and have set a goal to work out every day between now and then. Yesterday was measly. I was on the run most of the day and not hungry. B - Protein shake S - a few peanuts L - Protein smoothie S - Protein shake D - YUMMY chili topped with lf cheese and ff sour cream....mmmmm S - tried to drink the other 1/2 of my protein shake but only took a few sips. too full from the yummy chili Cal 564, Fat 9g, carbs 26, prot 81g So I did well on everything except calories which was woefully low. Workout: 55 minute aerobic and weight training tape (The FIRM), 30 min (2miles) on the treadmill, and a few weight machines (it was too crowded to complete my circuit). FWIW - I ache all over this a.m.! How about you?? Margaret

Hey Margaret. Good luck with your hyterectomy. Im having one in Janurary. The docs gonna do a panni removal at the same time. Im nervouse about it cause I still have about 100lbs to get to goal. But it hangs pretty bad so I better jump on the chance while I have it I guess. Anyway... 10am. whole wheat english muffin with 1 slice cheese, 3 thin slices deli ham, a little bit of tomato and mayo grilled on the foreman. Ate all but a bite or two of it. 1pm. 1 thin chicken breast grilled on the foreman a few scuppernogs..OK alot of scuppernogs!! 8pm. 4 homemade meatballs about 1/4 cup barilla plus thin spaghetti noodles w/ sauce 11:50pm kashi go lean protein bar (180 cal. 12 protein) I eat so much more than you guys do! And protein shakes just make me hungrier. I fight it tooth and nail but Im so afraid Im gonna fail at this. Mary

Hi Mary, Yep, the hyster thing is making me a little nervous. I'm so afraid it's going to mess with my weight loss. I'm working out really hard (every muscle in my body hurts today!) to try and maximize my loss and get in shape before I have it in two weeks. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to the pain and fatigue of surgery recovery again! I plugged in your food on fitday (making some assumptions): Cal 1212, Fat 50g, Carb 75g, Prot 97g Not as bad as you thought! Don't let your thoughts sabotage you. You're doing fine. Margaret

Thanks Margaret. I really appreciate you doing that. It sure is easy to get up over 1000 calories before u know it!! Im not even sure how many I should be at at this point. I know what you mean about the pain and recovery. My doc said no lifting no driving no AnYTHInG for at least 6 weeks. Thats gonna be hard. He's also gonna remove my panni at the same time tho so thats a plus. Im just scared about having it removed before Im done losing weight. But I better jump on the chance while I have it. Its wierd too because even tho I have no intentions on having anymore kids it kinda wigs me out that I wont have that option anymore. And I wonder if it will feel "differant" If I will feel differant. But i hads those worries before wls too and it turned out better than I thought. Have a great day!!!! MAry
