I definitely notice a difference. It kind of feels like it did when I was briefly on anti-depressants. There might be interest and arousal, but I have a very difficult time getting to "the end." It feels physical (or hormonal) to me--not mental. I've been assuming that I'm startin menopause, but it's very coincidental that it happened right after surgery. I guess I'll make an appt. with a gyno (which I'm due for anyway). Jen

You could be absolutely correct about the hormonal aspect. I have been told many times, and I am coincidentally learning in school, that our fat cells hold onto a major amount of hormones, and that as we rapidly lose weight these hormones come flooding out. Our body is trying to compensate, but sometimes it takes a while to get the levels correct...so in the meantime, we can feel depressed, weepy, touchy, or just downright bi*chy...along with other symptoms, as well. Usually it levels off as our weight begins to stablize...but, until then we just have to be patient. Many times for me, like you said, it has felt long and drawn out...like there is no end in sight. It's amazing how something as simple as one little chemical in our body can throw things so out of whack!
