MONDAY's FEEDINGS!!!
Ok people how did we do yesterday?
Here is mine..
B- 1/2 banana ( I know where the hec is the protein in this?) I wasnt hungry and I had to get a little something in my tummy for my calcium, etc.
S- NONE
L- 3/4 cup of Hamburger soup YUMMY
S- SF pudding with SF whip cream
D- 3/4 cup of soup again
S- Carrots, and crackers...
VERY BAD day on protein. There is hamb and garbonzo beans in my soup.. should have done a protein shot, but just not very hungry. I'll try harder today.. Writing it makes me want to try harder!
I did really well on my water and took all vitamins, etc.
Hope everyone did better than me!!
Hey Stacey!! How funny that you would title this Monday's "feedings". When I first had surgery...I would tell ppl all the time that it was time for my feeding when I got ready to eat and they would crack up laughing at me!! Well here's my damage from yesterday......
Breakfast-scrambled eggs w/cheese, 3 jalapenos, and a slice of tomato
Lunch-More fried chicken salad- YUMMERS 3 oz of chicken, 1 oz of lettuce (I guess it really wasnt a salad lol), sprinkle of cheese, 2 cherry tomatos, slice of red onion and 2 tablespoons of honey mustard dressing
Dinner-Some times I dont want to eat right I want to have my snack foods so that is what I had for dinner yesterday! lol
1 oz pork rinds, 2 weigh****chers caramel medallions, and a plum
About an hour later I mixed me some protein powder in some water and had that
I had less than 40 oz of water,but I did work out, 45 mins of cardiio and then 15 of free weights and got my vitamins in...except for my last calcium dosage.
So maybe the next poster will have eat better than we did yesterday!!
And today is not look so good either....I brought a protein bar for breakfast but when I went to ge****er this morning...a team was having a potluck breakfast so my protein bar is now in my desk drawer....
I try and eat about every 4 hours and still only eat my three meals a day...I don't snack between my meals yet. Unless of course you count my gum.... That is why some times my meals look so weird like the skinds, plum and weigh****chers candy...since I dont eat between meals, when I want a snack, I will make that my dinner instead....
I hope we get a good response too. It is good to see what others are eating at this stage and the menu ideas will be good. Way to go on working out after being at work all day!! Talk to you tomorrow and thanks again for starting this!
My eating on Monday and Wednesday is always crazy because I am in school from 4:45 to 10:05pm...so no regular dinner for me. But, this Monday wasn't really that bad. Here's the damage:
B: Syntrax Matrix Cookies & Creme protein shake, made with 1 cup nf milk, 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa, 2 tsp. Splenda...YUMMERS!!(210c, 32p)
S: Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch bar (190c, 7p)
L: Taco salad leftovers from Sunday night (estimated~200c, 14p)
S: nada
D: Muscle Milk Light, Chocolate Mint flavor (at school during lecture) (150 c, 20p)
S: Cashews, 30 grams (at school before lab) (180 c, 5p)
S: 4 slices polska kielbasa, browned with sliced mushrooms, onions and peppers...mmmm (150c, 6p)
Got most vitamins in...except last calcium dose...all water in for the day.
1080 calories, 84 protein...right where I want to be! And, as of this morning...only 10 pounds to goal!!

Yesterday was a pretty typical day for me:
B: Dannon Light & Fit smoothie mixed w/one scoop protein powder and ice--28g protein
S: Special K Protein cereal (1 cup) w/.25 cup of FF milk--18 g protein
L: 2oz. of turkey strips marinated in chipotle citrus sauce (ground after cooking), 1 Tbs. cheese dip, .25 cup FF shredded cheddar, 1 tsp. light sour cream all wrapped up in 1/2 of a tomato basil tortilla wrap--24g protein
S: chocolate chip protein bar--13g protein
D: 1 cup whole grain brown rice w/broccoli and cheese--8g prrotein
I tried to eat some grilled chicken for dinner, but after a few bites it decided to come back up So after a while I just ate the rice....just to clarify, I would not have eaten a whole cup of rice if the chicken had stayed down.
Totals: calories=994, fat=24g (23% of daily calories, only 9% was sat. fat), carbs=108g (38% of daily calories), protein=90g (39% of daily calories)
This is right where my NUT wants me to be, so I had a good day!

1 slice of whole wheat lite bread with 1 slice cheese melted on it

noon
8oz frozen salsbury steak and masked potato meal
350 calories/23carbs/12protein
6pm
2 graham crackers
2T ricotta fluff
approx. 170 calories.. for the crackers...not sure on the rest
8pm
3 turkey meatballs in sauce
small salad (lettuce and 4 cherry tomatos)
approx. 160calories/3carbs/18protein
10pm
few bites sf jello

1/2 a mini bagel
2T srtawberry cream cheese
approx. 100 calories/28carbs/10protein
Approxamate daily totals 940calories/70carbs/52protein
Does that sound about normal to yall?
