Monday Morning Weigh In

Thanks for the thoughts... My son HAD strep and was treated with Amoxicillin... well then he broke out in all these sores in his mouth and tongue and gums and back of his throat.. well come to find out he has MONO... and when amoxicillin is given to someone that has MONO it causes a allergic somewhat reaction (sores).... Mis diagonosed!! Just a FYI for anyone with kids! He was in the hospital for 4 days on IV fluids and steriods and antibotics. Bottom line is they should have tested him for MONO in the first place before treating the strep! Again Thank you for your concern and thoughts! Your all a GREAT OH family! Hope everyone has a good week... Mine is up hill now since my son is out of the woods. Stacey

Glad to hear he is out of the woods now Stacey! I know that must have been a horrilble experience for you guys. You think when you go to the hospital or doctors office they would know and test for things like this. And again....I am glad things are getting better for him.

Happy Labor Day, January Lovelies!! It is a beautiful day here in Sacramento...the weather is finally cooling down to a bearable 99 degrees today. We spent the entire day on Saturday at the CA State Fair...it was 103 that day. I have to say...we have been so many times over the years that we saw just about everything there was to see, twice... and we were still bored!! Well, we got to see the livestock exhibits and that is always interesting...the hogs especially. At least we got some amazing amounts of walking in! Surgery/high: 251.5 Last Monday: 165.4 Today: 163.8 Loss this week: 1.6 Total loss: 87.7 BMI: 26.3 To goal of 150: 13.8 pounds (I may end up changing my goal to 140? We'll see how hard it is to get to 150 first, lol.) ~Suz

Im disgusted!! I only lost 1 lb this week. Actually only 1/2 a lb cause last week I was at 242 and this week it was 241.4 I never count the point and just go with the whole number. But this is drivin me crazy!! I'll never get to goal at this rate. SW 367 LW 242 T 241 (.4)!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be disgusted Mary. I haven't lost anything in 2 weeks. In fact I gained 5 lbs when I started my cycle. I am slowly getting back down to 168 but man what a major bummer. HW 270 SW 255 LW 173 CW 169 I don't really consider it a loss since it is the second time I am losing the same poundage....lol. Oh well forward one step and back 2. Anna
