Hi family, I am in need of some encouragement because I feel like I will never make it to my goal of 145-150. I am 7.5 months out and I keep going between 199-201 and I am so frustrated!!! I don't know what to do!!! My flesh says forget it but my spirit says that you have come so far and if God have not given up on you why are you going to. Does anybody know how I feel? I can't fail at this... It is not an option!!!! Thanks for allowing me to be vulnerable ...What can I say... Just keep me in your prayers. Thanks, kellie

Kellie, It WILL happen! Just reflect back on how you felt this time last year, or even at Christmas. Before our January surgeries we struggled for every ounce we lost. At least now we have a tool that will bring success if we use it! I don't know how much you have lost altogether, but you have seen One-der-land at 199. The last leg of the journey is always the toughest. You can get tired and discouraged, but we must keep pressing on! God brought you through the surgery, He will get you through these tough spells as well. 2 Chronicles 20:15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. Ron Kenoly sings this song . . . Not by power Not by might But by My Spirit Says the Lord The weapons of our warfare Are not of this world They are mighty through God Mighty through God The power of His mercy And the power of His love They are stronger than all Stronger than all As we worship in unity Jesus the Lord Voctory comes in His name By His Word By My Spirit says the Lord By My Spirit says the Lord By My Spirit says the Lord Kellie, keep pushing on - exercise, eat your protein first, drink your water! Do those things that have brought you success so far - and then don't sweat it. You will start losing again and you WILL get to your goal! Hugs, Marilyn

I know how you feel. Im so afraid the loss is gonna stop here, or worse yet...I'll gain it back. But I keep telling myself that they say the window of opportunity is 18 months. That gives us about 10 moe months...and look at how far we've come in almost 8 months. We'll get there!! Mary

I know how you feel but know this your doctor gives you 12-18 months to reach goal you are only in your 7 month 5 whole months to a year. 5 that a long time to work on it.You know we get stalls and our weight lost slows down the farther out we get.I met my goal that my dr gave me and he was excited that i still had 5 months to go,Not to mention his goal was 220 when i was at 312.I only want to get down to 180 but know its a possibility that i will lose more.My ideal weight is 155 but i picture that as too small funny huh.You can and will do it take pound by pound

I was scared too and thought that this surgery would never work for me. It did and it's working for you too. Look at all of the weight that you've lost FOREVER!!!!!! You are still going to lose, it's just slower now. Hang in there. ((((HUGS))))

Kellie - I'm right there with you. I'm 7.5 months out and am hanging out in the 190s as well. Moving slowly toward the goal. I know how you feel. It can be really disheartening to be losing so slow. Just press on (Phil. 3:12-14). Keep doing what you know is right, pressing toward the goal. We can, and WILL do this. Praying, Margaret
