Good morning to everyone! I am very excited to report a big loss this week. 4 lbs is huge for me at this stage. Nothing different at all, it just fell off. (gosh that's cool) HW 242 LW 169 CW 165 Have a great week everyone. I'd have to say these are some of the best 7 months of my life so far. Can't wait for what's next! We used to sing a song at church that says "God is always workin, he's workin in my life and he will make it right" I just feel like singing that song today because I know he's workin! Lori

Great job this past week. I am so glad you are past all of your problems!! My surgery date is 10/25 @ 7:30AM. I have to be there at 6AM....ugh, I am not a morning person, but I will be glad to get home and rest early. It's just a day procedure. I am going to talk to the anesthesist (sp) and advise him to make sure that just before he wakes me up to make sure he gives me a good strong dose of meds. I do really horrible coming out of surgery. I wake up freezing and in severe pain every time. For my Gastric Bypass it took them like 2 hours to get me calmed down enough to move me from recovery to my room because I was crying so hard that I couldn't breathe and they couldn't get me to stop shivering and relax. I think it's because the medicines wear off and when I wake I am in sheer pain. I am the only patient so far out of 5 people that I went to see right after their RNY with my Dr that had to have the actual Patient Controlled Pump machine. All of the others got med's via a shot or through their IV's every few hours. I will keep everyone posted as we get closer. Hugs, Lindy
