Thanks Stacey!! I think it was a combo have two weeks in a row of gains and then upping my protein intake! Congrats on those size 14 jeans and the Large shirts!! I know you feel amazing and I love to find that the smaller sizes are much cheaper than plus size!!

ARGH!!! IM frustrated! I didnt lose a pound this week. Last month I only lost 6lbs!! And that was the week "mother nature" came around. Ive still got 100lbs to lose so Im getting worried. SW 367 LW 245 T 245 total loss of 122lbs. Im thrilled with that. But with so much left to lose Im really getting depressed. Mary

Mary, Don't be discouraged (I know - easier said than done!). The weight WILL come off! Just keep doing what you know is right. I tend to get caught in the mindset of questioning everything - am I eating enough, too little? Too many carbs, too little? Exercising too much, not enough? Too little protein? Whatever....just questioning everything I'm doing. The truth is that my body likes to hold onto every pound...so I lose slowly. But I fight discouragement every day because of that slow losing! Press on! Keep focused on the goal, not the day to day! You've lost 122 lbs!!!! That's AMAZING! Your body will re-adjust and get losing again. (speaking to myself as well!) A year from now you WILL be "there", I WILL be "there"....as long as we keep doing what we know is right and don't let discouragement take control. Margaret

Thanks Margaret, I know what you mean...I question everything too!! I researched wls for 5 yrs before I had it and thought Id know it all. But I found out after surgery is when the real questions begin. Thanks for the encouragement. Im sending positive vibes your way too!! Mary

Hey Mary...I just wanted to reiterate what Margaret said...look at how far you have come those far...look at that picture on your blog!! You look amazing and you are doing great! Keep doing follow the rules and know that at times the weight loss will be slow or non exsistent and at times it will be unbelievable! I too still have a long way to go but I am going to keep striving towards my goal with the mind set I know I can, I know I can!! And I know you can too!!

Thanks Stephanie. I know its totally normal, but man, does it suck when it happens!! Especially now that we can eat more than newly post-op. Because that old diet way of thinking sets in and I think if Im eating more how in the heck can I lose weight. I think Im just drivin myself crazy! LOL Mary
