Hello- Here is a example of my day yesterday. B- I had egg beaters with diced ham, onions, green peppers and cheese. Snack- peanut butter and apple Lunch- 3 oz. meat loaf and 1/4c green beans snack- soy nuts (harvest crunch, they have soys nuts, sunflower seads, corn nuts and wheat in it) AWESOME www.soynuts.com Supper- Shrimp/pork egg roll (sensations brand) 7gr of protein in one, and I can only eat one. snack- soy nuts again. Hope this helps!! Yesterday was a good day... If I dont have a good day, I sometimes do a protein shot, but I cant do shakes or anything. Look up the soy nuts, they are awesome and get the salt craving away. I dont like plain soy nuts.

Could you give me an idea what you eat in a day? I always worry that Im eating too much, or not enough... Im at a big time stall and its driving me crazy!! Thanks, Mary

Thanks Holly!! I can't imagine my BMI @ 23 something either! Mine is still 25.1!!!!! This surgery is amazing and I am so thankful that I got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Janie...here is how Lindy mixes her smoothies....I am not that creative in the kitchen so mine are usually bland....Lindy's sound very good and I am going to use her recipe next time. I usually have a smoothie for breakfast becuase I rather sleep than fix breakfast!! lol But I know I have to have something in my system and this gives me at least 30 grams of protein to start my day off.. Lindy's post~ You should try the ones that Stephanie posted about last week. They are delicious and really good. I think they are like 31 grams of protein. I really liked them and I couldn't stand protein shakes in the first 4 months. I found one now that I like and my husband even thought it was good. They taste better than Smoothie King or Smoothie Factory shakes. I just add some frozen strawberry and 1/2 banana and about 2 tablespoons of whip cream (no sugar/carbs), then 1/4 cup ice to make it colder and thicker. Good luck!

THanks Steph. Now I didn't see where she adds the protein? Any protein mix? I have matrix still I think!

Yes, she uses the premixed yogurt smoothies and protein powder like I do and then she added the other stuff to it. When you put the ice in there (I tried it last night for the first time) it really gives it a different taste and texture like a milk shake almost...I am going to get more creative with mine soon. Let me know if you try this way and what you think about it. I use a vanilla flavored protein mix in mine.

Im going through the same thing. Last month I only lost 6lbs and I didnt lose a pound this week again at all!! I dont like the shakes either. I cant imagine drinking everything for days without some real food!! I would KILL to be at 138!! You go girl!! I still got at least 100 more to lose! You cant possibly wanna lose much more?? Ive heard when your close to goal the weight loss slows down to a crawl, so dont worry too much about it. We need some fairy dust!! Mary

Hey Janie; The protein shakes that I do are really like the normal ones. Lindy mixed up some great ones when she did the liquid ones and they sound really good. I am too lazy to be creative so mine are just the flavor of the yogurt and the protein but that is still pretty tasty. You don't have to do them as meal replacements but you can try them as a snack between your meals to get in some extra protein and calories. Try it as a snack a few days and see if the added protein help boost your weight loss. Not you have that many more pounds to lose anyway!
