Good morning January folks! Down another 1.5 this week. I'll take it. Went shopping this weekend and bought some new clothes - almost all size Large or a 14/16. Regular sizes, not plus, it's still weird. I started out a 3X 22/24. Got some great bargains at the outlets, J.Jill, Eddie Bauer, and Talbots. Start: 300 LastWeek: 196.5 This week: 195 Kerry

Well- I'm happy to say I've lost what I had gained so I'm back to where I was... HW- 250 SW- 241 LW- 153 TW- 147 I seem to be stuck at 147- which is 23.7 BMI- I'd like to lose a few more. What BMI is everyone shooting for? Also- when I dropped my calories to 800-1000 and upped my exercise I gained weight- anyone else experience this? This week I went back to 1400 calories and the weight came back down. Mathmatically this seems wrong to me. Any ideas? Third- it seems like I only lose weight one week out of the month... fluid retention? Finally- another spot opened up so the triplets will all be attending preschool 3 days a week starting September 4th!!! How fab is that? I am soooo excited!!!! Have a good one- Holly

Hey Holly!! I want my BMI to be under 30 for sure...not much under the normal bmi though. I do think for some reason the more we eat the more we loose...could be due to the fact that when you first cut back on your calories..your body thinks it is starving....but after a few weeks at the low calorie level...your body will have to start to let the weight go. I think I am slowing to lose only 2 weeks a month right now which stinks..but it is still better than no loss at all. And congrats on getting the triplets in preschool!! That is awesome!! Talk to you soon!

I would be thrilled (I say that now ) to have a BMI at around 23...I think much lower on my frame might be too bony. I'm at 26.7 now...so not much further to go to normal (on the weight chart, at least ).

Highest Weight 232 lbs Day of Surgery 228 lbs Last Week 149.6 This week 147.2 Total Loss 2.4 lbs for the week. I only did the liquid smoothie diet for 3 days and then I started my cycle, so I feel that I did pretty good, considering I normally don't have a loss on the week I start. Hopefully next week will push me closer to my goal. I can't really complain about a 2.4lb loss. Good luck this week. Lindy

Good job Lindy~ I am thinking you will have an even bigger loss next week due to your cycle. Keep us posted on you reaching your goal!

Good morning everyone! I am back from vacation and thought I would have lost more, but I guess all that walking just added some heavy muscle....dernit! I had a blast in California, we visited the Sequoia National Forest, Pismo beach, The San Diego Wild Animal Park, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Huntington Beach. It was a beautiful trip, but most of all I enjoyed the hike up Moro Rock at the top of the Sierras from the National Forest. I was able to climb approx. 350-400 stairs to the top of the rock at a high altitude (without dying on the way up) to see an amazingly breathtaking view of the world. I can't imagine trying that at my "former" weight. It felt great! Here are my stats for this week HW 242 LW 171 (actually 2 weeks ago) CW 169 (and I must add that my nephew's 2nd birthday party on the beach in Huntington was priceless, he's such a doll and Aunt "LOLO" can't wait to go back to see that little angel)
