Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you had wonderful weeks last week. Mine week was great..in spite of a 3.2 pound bounce up..but I am not stressing or complaining...I had a 9.2 loss the week before from doing the liquids so I am still netting 6 pounds, which is not shabby by any means. She you next week with a loss! HW 327 SW 322 LW 216.6 CW 219.8 Gain 3.2

Stephanie - I always look forward to your positive posts. They always make me feel better. You are right, you loss 9 lbs the week before, so that's a net of 6 because of this past week. Here I was coming to this site kinda feeling a little down because I didn't lose one lb this week and now you've made me feel better. Look how much I've loss in the past. Right? Thank you. I don't understand though. We exercise ( I worked out everyday this week), eat healthy (rarely do I go over 1000 cal, usually 800-900) and then not lose a lb, or even gain. How is that even possible? You can't work out too much can you? Does your body need time to rest? The weekend before last weekend (Fri and Sat) we had company and I didn't work out at all and that's when I loss 2 lbs. Go figure... I can't even blame it on that time of the month because that's at the end of the month. I just don't understand it. Anyways, here are my stats....... HW - 238 SW - 225 LW - 139 CW - 139 Here's to a better week

Oh, in honor of me fitting in a size 8, I've taken more pictures. hehehehehe! They are in my profile. It's so cool, I NEVER EVER would let someone take a picture of me before, now it's like after the pic is taken I'm excited to look at it and see how far I've come. lol! I love to be an encouragement to others that are considering WLS too, so I love to posts updates on my blog and pics. I know when I was considering WLS I looked at so many profiles. So, remember to take pics to see how far you've come girls!!!

You go size eight.I have to agree with you stephanie is positive just when you need it.I just posted on my profile about my lack of weight lost the last couple of weeks even gain two pounds.I am trying not to get fustrasted.BUt you asked a good question because I too increased my workouts I dont do my measurements something I never picked up on so I dont know if i lost any incehes the last few weeks.I do still need to work on my protein.I am developing muscle in places i dont remember having any ever.So I been focusing on that positve point.I hope everyone else had a better week.I am taking any suggestions. Well hopefully next week all of us that didn't lose or gained will really lose at least 3 lbs!!! That's what I am praying for!!!!! I need to work on my protein as well. I would like to get over 60 grams (doctor recommends 57) but most days I am about 55 grams. I don't know how some people can get over 100?????

Hey Janie! I thinking look at the big picture...how much you have lost to date, shed a new light on things. I also think that are bodies are still adjusting to this major change and that it needs time to catch up with things..and then we have weeks were we don't lose or even gain. But it all balances out. I don't think you can exercise too much either...our hearts will thank us in the end! And you could be at the point where your muscles are bulking up too...Also look at you wearing a size eight!! WOOHOO!! U GO GIRL!! And you are so close to goal....you will be there before you know it!! And remember...not losing is always better than a gain!

Yay on that size 8, Janie!! Your pics look fabulous!! As for working out...I was always told that whatever muscle group you work one day, you should rest them the next. So, 24 hours to allow for repair to the muscles. But, if you alternate modes of exercise...cardio one day, weight training another, abs another...that kind of thing...then every group has time to repair itself and also you have less chance of getting bored with your routine. The occasional days off don't hurt, either . I'm struggling with the idea of working hard at working out and not really losing. I watch what I eat carefully, as well. I guess that we may have hit that dreaded point where the weight decides to come off or not...as the body chooses. But, I remind myself that I am only 6 months out....lots of time left in that "magic window of opportunity" of 18 months that we all hear about!!

Thanks Suzanne. I don't know what is wrong with me. I am in a funk about my weight. You would think I would be thrilled, come on when was the last time I wore a size eight and weighed 139? In high school. Yet I'm dissapointed when I get on the scale and haven't loss a lb in 9 days. I am working so hard. I'm not sure if I need to eat more, add more carbs or do what I'm doing and tomorrow will be a better day??? I need a magic formula! lol! Thanks God for you guys though or I would be going crazy!!!! You guys are the best!!

Just thought I would share this tidbit... I only lose 2 weeks out of the month... its weird. But when I not losing weight I measure myself, cause Im losing inches. Cant explain it, buts its true! So measure yourself and dont worry. Plus if your working out more, your toning and building muscle and burning fat! I wish I was a size 8. Im a size 14-16... and Ive lost 107lbs. Now that's depressing. *SMILE* your doing GREAT!!! Stacey
