Hi All: I had a few ppl request that I post what I did for days I did the liquid diet. I actually did from Sunday to Wednesday last week and lost 9.2 pounds! I use either the Light and Fit Carb and Sugar Control smoothie by Dannon and it has different flavors: berries and cream, strawberries and cream and strawberry and banana cream. I tried the starwberry and cream one. http://www.lightnfit.com/products_lnf_carb.asp Or I use the Blue Bunny brand smoothies from walmart. It also has about three flavors: Mixed Berry, Strawberry creme and I think peaches and cream. http://www.bluebunny.com/WhatsNewInnovations.aspx?motivator=plantsterols I take the premixed smoothie (I get about 4-7 oz bottles for less than 4 dollars at Walmart) and put in a scoop of protein powder (I use body fortress vanilla flavored from Wal Mart), put it in the blender to mix it well. And thats it. http://www.bodyfortress.com/ The body fortress has 23 grams of protein a serving and the smoothies usually have about 7 grams for a total of 30 grams of protein. I drank three of those a day and that was all I had beside water and gum. I thought it would very hard to do but it did not phase me at all. I was not hungry and did not feel like I was missing out by not eating. But the next day...when I did eat...it went straight thru me if you know what I mean. But that was just that first day. After that it was all good and 9 pounds were gone! If anyone tries it let us know what you think. This is usually what I have for breakfast to start my day off. Its quick, easy and packed with protein.

No problem! If you let me know the days you plan on doing it, I will do it with you. That way we can be moral support for each other!

I was wondering by any chance if you have fitday totals for the days that you did this? Where I live in Belgium I do not have access to the same products that you used . Thanks, Christa

I did a shake this morning to see if I would like it. Not bad. I used the Yoplain brand Strawberry Banana (made with splenda). I need to relook at the contents, but it had 6 grams of protein and I added Isopure zero Carb/1 scoop = 25 grams of protein. I feel good that I already got 31 grams of protein in. I usually don't do breakfast, but I think I need to start to get all my protein in. I will let you know when I plan to do this. Probably next Monday - Thursday. I want to loose in AUGUST. I go back to NJ on Sept 11 & 12th and I would love to be down about 15 lbs.

Cool!! I am glad you liked it. I think the smoothies are great for breakfast if you dont normally eat. They are quick and easy and you get in a big sum of protein to start your day off! I will plan on doing the liquids again next week with you.

ok, sounds like a great plan! I have had the munchies today..I gotta quit it. I am snacking healthy, but not something I have wanted to do since pre-op. I am going to do this Aug 13-Aug 16, Then again Sept 3 - Sept 6th. If I loose anywhere near what you did, I will be at 135 by the time I go to New Jersey, which is only 3lbs above my goal. That will be a WOW moment within itself to be on an airplane that close to goal.....I am ready to take a BOW on the WOW!!! I am getting pumped up and excited, because I believe that those shakes are delicious enough to sustain my hunger. """Let's Do It!""....Our Motto for next week! Hugs, Lindy
