Your 2 pound loss is good..that is the average amount for us at this stage...so you can and you will Jennifer do it!! I only did the liquids for 4 days and it was not bad at all. I think the high amount of protein (30 grams) did the trick in keep my hunger at bay. Let me know if you decide to try and if you have any questions.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Weekend. I Ran my first marathon!!!!! 5K in 41 minutes. Yes, I am so proud of myself. I know without this surgery I would have never been able to finish. Well, Just wanted to let everyone know this as it is a huge accomplishment for me. I have one this Friday, a walk-a-thon 12 hours to raise money for Breast Cancer and then one in October, Twin Cities Marathon, another 5K. (3.1 miles) Well here are my stats: Highest Weight: 280's Pre-OP: 267.9 Last week: 170-171 This morning: 169 (I have actually been at this amount since the later part of last week) I am almost at the 100 pound mark. 2 more pounds to go!!!! Good Luck to everyone. I have my angel with me to help me succeed!

Hi Laura - I have to say that I'm so impressed that you did a 5k. That is one if my goal in my life time. I watch my husband and my 10 year old son do them and wish that I could have the ability to do it. I don't run - yet...... it was always to hard on the knees, but I keep dreaming of doing a 5k one day. Congratultions on a great job. Marta

HOLY SMOKE STEPH!!!! I don't think any of us have seen weight loss like that in one week since the first month or so after surgery! You go girl!!!! whoo hoo!! Inspires me to want to try the same thing once in a while. I felt like I "pigged" out all week (which it really isn't, I just felt that way) and low and behold I dropped weight this week anyway. Stacy highest weight 304 day of surgery 291 last week 196.4 this week 193.8 lbs lost this week 2.6 total lbs lost 110.2 lbs left to goal-43.8 (Goal is 150)
