What did you eat yesterday/today?

I was feeling like it's time for a what are you eating post. If you know the details, try to post calories, protein, fat, and carb totals for the day as well. For me, yesterday was a bad day and not a good example of my typical day. I found myself freakishly stress eating yesterday afternoon. It really put a scare into me that I could, and would, still do that. So here's the good (not much), the bad, and the ugly: Breakfast: Coffee (how's that for good nutrition??) Lunch: 1/2 cup chili with a sprinkling of 75% fat free cheese and a tablespoon of fat free sour cream. Snack (ugh): 1 oz 75% fat free cheese, 1/4 **** cream (you read it right, ICE CREAM - eaten one teaspoon at a time....I just kept going back), 10 or so nuts ( was trying to get myself out of the ice cream box), 15-20 tortilla chips with salsa. Sigh. Dinner: Small lean hamburger, fresh spinach, tomato, pickle (no bun), mayo (not low fat - I was a guest at my sister in laws), mustard. Snack (yes, I did it again): Sugar free popsicle, and a slice of cold pizza. What the heck???? According to fitday: 1200 calories, 64g fat (49%), 103 carbs (31%), 58g protein (20%). So, there you have it. A day full of bad choices. I didn't even drink my protein or drink all my water. All the things I said I would never do post op. So how did your day go? Gotta be better than mine! Today is going to be better! I may post to the thread again tonight, just to encourage myself. Margaret

Ok, yesterday (Saturday) was much better. Breakfast: Coffee (ok, that wasn't better) Lunch: 1/2 c chili, 1 oz 75% fat free cheese, 1 T ff sour cream Snack: Peach and berrie smoothie with 40g protein powder made with 1/2 c each frozen fruit, 1/4 c milk, 2 scoops protein powder - drank over 2 hours. Dinner: 1/4 c ff refried beans, 1/4 cup taco meant, a sprinkling of lf grated cheese, 1/2 T ff sour cream Snack: sf popsicle 72 oz water. I also worked out 2 hours at the gym, did a 30 min. ab workout tape, AND mowed the lawn. Now if I can just keep that up, modifying with leaner meats, I'll be doing well. Margaret
