I just found this forum too and I'm so happy! I had been posting mainly on the RNY surgery boards which I love but it is so busy and I find myself spending way too much time trying to keep up with all of it. And also the part about talking to people who've had surgery around the same time I did.....I think that will really help me!

I am glad you found us too. It took me a couple of months to figure this board out. I was on the main board and it was so busy. Don't get me wrong .. A lot of people are very helpful but it is great being with the people who are going throught the same issues as you... having had the surgery about the same time. Make sure you do the Monday morning weigh ins with everyone. They are a great support group.

Hi Swanzetta and Welcome!! As I told our recent addition(or is it victim?? 
), Carrie, yesterday...we LOVE to see new faces around here. There is nothing better than hearing a new point of view or seeing each other's successes and sometimes even failures. It helps so much to communicate with those that are in the same boat, at the same time as you.
And yes, like Roxanne said, don't forget Monday Morning Weigh-Ins, hosted by the lovely and talented, Stephanie...it really is worth sticking around here just for that
