Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Happy Late Monday everyone!!
I've had a hectic week...I closed on our new/old house and have been busy working and tearing into the house for some remodeling...call me crazy...I'm gonna remodel this house by myself over the next few months while Bob is in Iraq!!! I guess losing 104 lbs makes ya not think too clearly or makes you feel like you have super human powers! haha So wish me luck on my endeavors.
I hit the 100's this week...what a relief!!!! I can't believe I've gone from the 300's to the 100's...I'm still amazed everyday.
I agree with several of you other girls...I feel like my appetite is through the roof all of a sudden. Up to this point I've not had much of an appetite and I have not been one to track what I eat every day because it didn't amount to squat anyway...now I feel like it's time to start tracking things...though I know I'm still not eating anywhere near what I use to, but, compared to the last 6 months, I feel like I'm pigging out now!!
My hair is still falling out in droves. I'm amazed that I have any left...and I have very thick hair. I can't imagine what it's like to have thin hair and be losing it like I am.
I hope everyone has a great week!!

Slow as always.
I had my 6 mo. follow up last week. My blood work came back GREAT! My blood pressure was 111 over 72. Fantastic! My weight loss was "slow"....can we all say, "duh", together? Nut said I was doing everything right, so I'm not to worry. It's just this hypo-thyroid, menopausal body doing it's sluggish thing. I see my family doc today for the first time since surgery. She's going to be pretty excited I think!
I did measure again just for some encouragement. In the past month I dropped another 1 1/2 inches off my waist, another inch off my hips, another inch off my right thigh and 1/2 inch off my left (they're even now), and amazingly another inch off my shrunken and shriveled chest. So, I continue to shrink even if the scale is slow in budging.
Blessings,
Margaret

I think that you are doing wonderfully, Margaret. You've lost 69 pounds...not too shabby I'd say! The fact that your bp is healthy and your bloodwork is perfect....that's what it's really all about! Besides...your numbers are dropping...especially on the measuring tape. What's that they say? Slow and steady wins the race- that should be your motto! Not to mention going against menopause and hypo-thyroid? Lady, those 100's are just around the corner!! I can't wait to tell you congrats on that big milestone!! Oh yeah, and I am with you...I can't wait to see my PCP...he is going to drop dead when he sees the difference in me! I know your doc wiil be super pleased, too.
