My head is hurting. I have had a headache for two days now.; Has anyone had this experience? I am wondering if it has anything to do with not getting enough protein. Lately , I have not been getting my protein in. Help please.

Headache can also be a symptom of dehydration. Have you been getting 64 oz. or more of water or other beverage? Are you having problems with eating protein? If so, and you don't already know about Isopure, it's a clear liquid that comes in a 20 oz. bottle, ready to drink, and has 40 grams of protein. So, it counts as both water and protein. It comes in different flavors. I especially like the Alpine Punch. What are you taking for the headache pain? My doctor suggests Tylenol gelcaps for his patients. If increasing protein and water doesn't help, I would suggest you call your doctor. Hope you feel better real soon. Hugs, Lynn B.

Thank you so much for responding. You are right, I was not getting enough water and protein. I did call the dr. and the nurse suggest for me to increase water. I have my six month check up on friday. Thanks for the tip about Isopure. Can I get that at Wal Mart, Walgreens??????? thanks again. Gloriousb

Hi Gloriousb, You're very welcome. I haven't seen it a Wal-Mart or Walgreens. GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe have it online, so I would think they also carry it in their stores. Just so you can see what I'm talking about, here's a link to it on GNC's website. http://www.gnc.com/search/index.jsp?sr=1&origkw=isopure&kwCatId=&kw=isopure&pg=2 I don't think that will show up as a link. You can copy it and paste in into the address bar in your web browser. I use the one in the bottle. (I've never tried their powder.) My doctor sells the bottled one at his resource center, so I get it there, as it's pretty convenient. Be sure and let us know how your check up goes on Friday. Blessings, Lynn B.

Sorry you have a headache. Like Lynn said are you getting enough water and protein? If I get a headache I take 1 or 2 Tylenol and either crush and add to a tablespoon of SF pudding or Dr. said I can split in into 4 pieces if they are the long hard tablets. I had never thought about the different meds we can and can't have since our surgery but have read up and learned a lot. Crazy isn't it? Take Care and Feel Better Soon. Hugs..Roxanne

Thanks Roxanne, I generally take Tylonol quick release tablets. Have done fine with them. The liquid tends to upset my stomach. I have the same problem with liquid vit. So if I am not feelin' it I would just suffer with the pain as opposed to throwing up. Thanks . I will see my dr. for a six month check up on fri. Gloriousb P.s. cutie pie of baby.
