I made the century club! It feels great. I didn't have too good of a week though in total weight loss. I was really slack on my protein and I didn't work out at all. This week will be a better week for me. I'm doing the protein train, so hopefully that will jump start me back on eating properly... heck even eating at all. (I've been eating only fruit and sugar-free popsicles for the past week... I know, I know...) Also, my personal trainer is back from vacation, so I plan to work out twice with her and 4 extra days of cardio. My 6 month surgiversary is coming up in 16 days and I want to loose about another 11 - 20 lbs. I want to have lost (total) about 120 lbs by then. Wish me good favor and diligence.
Hi,
I don't know your name so I'll call you Mutha,
Your post made me laugh I guess we all want the weight gone today. Congrats on making the century club. Isn't it strange how we don't seem to want to eat a lot? I wish you luck on your goal in 16 days. I would love to see you get it but if not think how far you have come already.
Hugs..Roxanne
Hi everyone! Steph--I'm right there with you on the gain train. I went up (I refuse to say GAINED) 1/2 lb. this week. I've kind of been expecting it because I started weight training two weeks ago, so I'm going to decide that it's ALL muscle! Right? Right? I'm also doing a Yoga/Tai-Chi/Pilates class 2-3 times per week and treadmilling 4-5 times per week. I know I can't really be gaining fat. Right? Great job those of you who hit 100 lbs. lost! What an amazing feeling that must be. Have a good week, Jen
HW: 265 lbs.
SW: 252 lbs.
LW: 185 lbs.
CW: 185.5 lbs.
Now that is definitely a better way to state it...so we both went up this week! And I would say you are gaining muscle and not fat. No way you would go up in fat from all the exercising you are doing. You are also doing so many different types of exercises that your body is going to keep giving you positive results! See you next week where we will both post our losses!
Good morning everyone. I had another good week with my weight loss, but unfortuantly for all the wrong reasons with this darned obstruction, but hopefully by next week we'll have it all figured out. I go to meet with the Doc this Friday and hopefully they'll scope me next Monday. I tried going to soft foods like my surgeon suggested on Saturday and was in horrible pain, so I put myself back on liquids. Just need to make it comfortably through another week.
I had an overwhelming WOW moment this weekend in the dressing room at JCPenneys... I tried on some jeans and this beautiful shirt I'd been eyeballing for months, and when I saw myself in the mirror it hit me... OH MY GOD, I'm skinny finally after all these years. I cried like a baby and walked out of the dressing room to see my boys with jaws dropped going "Wow Mom are you ok?" and I said "Guys you don't know how much this means to me, this is the best day of my life... I'm skinny!" I cry over everything so they just laughed at me and told me how good I looked. I'd been wearing my old 16-18's because I didn't want to buy new stuff and these jeans were a loose/comfy size 12. Amazing what wearing your true size will do for the ego
Anyway, my stats for this week:
Surgery 242
Last week 178
This week 174
