Obstruction

Hi everyone! Just dropping in from my hospital room where I thought it was necessary to check in with my Jan buddies for our routine Monday weigh in. I also wanted to update everyone on what's going on. Hopefully this post will cause someone in my situation to think twice about blowing off anything suspicious that might happen to them. I had a lot of cramping since Friday and realized it was only appearing after I had eaten, so this morning I checked in with my surgeon who sent me to the ER. Unfortunately after some testing it turns out that I have a small bowel obstruction. Luckily it was caught early enough, but not having seen my surgeon yet I'm still not quite sure what the next step is yet. So with that said, I would greatly appreciate any prayers that you can send up for me through this. Anyone who has already been through this that can offer support or advice etc please do...

Hey Lori....missy, what in the heck do you think that your doin' going and ending up in the hospital ? Seriously, I am so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling like your chipper self. Will you see your surgeon tomorrow? From what I understand an obstruction is easily remedied...thank goodness that you took your symptoms seriously and went to get checked out. Hi Lori - Sorry to hear you have any obstruction, I have heard that they can be very painful, thankfully you caught yours at an early stage. Sending you lots of prayers and happy thoughts to get you thru this. Hope you are back to your usually self in no time. Marta

Hey girlie, I was just looking at your picture thinking how beautiful you looked, then I came to see this post.....I am so sorry you are feeling so miserable.
