Hi - I'm close to that 100 pound mile stone..... for those of you have already hit, what reward did you give yourself? I know it wasn't food. I have a few ideas, but was wondering about everyone else. Marta

I have not hit it yet but my plan was to go and get me some acrylic nails but I have since changed my mind...the nails will be more maintence than I want to deal with right now. I can't wait to see the ideas that are posted so I can decide what I want to do. I was going to start getting me pedicures on a regular basis at that time but I went and got one this week (a bit early) lol and plan to do them once a month.

I'm thinking Botox. Or a tummy tuck...that would be really great. I think I still have a fair amount of time to decide...but at about 100 lost I would be just about at goal. Then, the countdown to plastic surgery starts!

At 100 lbs weight loss, I will be at goal, so I am considering the following: 1) Thermage* 2) Lip Dissolve* 3) Ionithermie (sp) which is a procedure that I had done on a cruise ship and lost a ton of inches. 4) A plane old body wrap 5) All day spa treatments (hey after 100 lbs, I think It would be worth it) 6) Mayan abdominal massage (cost about $300 for a six session plan) 7) Starting back up with accupuncture for infertility at the end of this month to get ready for trying to conceive later during the year. 8)TT** 9) Breast Augmentation because I look like a pre-teen up top now** 10) Photofacial - to rejuvenate my face and bring back youthful appearance *These are less invasive than TT and BA. Since I am a light weight, not sure if insurance would cover TT, so I would not be paid for the time off. I think the TT recovery time is like 6 weeks. Couldn't afford that much time off without pay, etc. There is no downtime, no cuts into the skin etc with these two procedures. ** Last result and only if I was not able to conceive naturally with IVF later this year and/or adopt. Okay this is all I could think of for now! If I think of more, I will come back and post for sure! I already do the solar nails and pedicure faithfully, because of finger nail biting and arthritis in feet. Hugs, Lindy

Hi - Thanks for all the replies. Plastics are out of the question for now..... I have about 50-60 more to lose and even then I have to save lots of $$$$ since insurance does not cover it. I hear ya on looking like a pre - teen in the chest area - my girls are always telling me that I have nothing left and man are my arms embarrassing. I was thinking about getting a 2 carat solitaire diamond necklace ( actually a zirconia - i can't afford a real diamond and who would really know the difference) I was also thinking about a Tiffany's bracelet with a charm that I would engrave w/ "100 pounds gone forever" plus a heart charm. A massage and a day at the spa sound intrigueing..... I just recently started getting pedicures and now I'm hooked !!! thanks again - Marta

Oooh laa laa, I like the bracelet idea too. It would be a stark reminder how far you have come and that you don't want to have to go through this again. And you know it would be beautiful to look at too. Lindy

I went out and bought a few beautiful pieces of lingerie. Don't get many because I wore them on vacation the week I bought them and then the next week, they slid down and almost fell off from being too loose! They would have fallen off except I fortunately had shorts on and they couldn't slide all the way down. Katy B
