Monday Morning Weigh Ins
It really helps to keep things in perspective for me, too, when I can follow along with someone else that is about where I am weight-wise. And, those darn 170's will be here before I know it...it is just so hard to be patient sometimes. Overall, I really can't complain about my rate of loss...I am ahead of the curve for my height and weight. In any case, I know that I will hit the 170's and soon be complaining that I need to hurry up and reach the 160's!! What on earth will I do when I reach goal??? I won't be able to look forward to that evil scale as much!
Hi everyone!! Yes, I'm still alive...as you know my hubby was home for his 2 weeks..and I actually got an extra day of him because his flight was cancelled for bad weather. He is back in Iraq now, as of yesterday...so I should be back on my routines now. I did not lose a single bit of an ounce the whole time he was home!! i weighed 209.2 the day I picked him up at the airport and I weighed 209.2 the day I took him back to the airport! haha but since he has left I'm on the move back down. I'm down 5.2 lbs since my last weigh in a few weeks ago...though I really lost most of it the past few days since he left. I have lost a total of 98.6 lbs...so close to hitting 100 lbs gone and so close to hitting onederland!!
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and encouragement in regards to my hubby coming home...and thank you for supporting him as a soldier...we both appreciate it. He thought I looked wonderful and he keeps telling me how beautiful I am and how proud of me he is.

Last week I didn't budge. It was my first stall. I thought things were slowing down but this week I am back on target.

I lost 2 pounds this week for a total lost of 109. I have 83 pounds to go according to the doctor but I want to lose 98 pounds. We will see who wins!
I am super excited though. I have gone from super morbidly obese to morbidly obese and now am under a BMI of 40 making me ineligible for surgery today and only obese. LOL Look out overweight, here I come!

Hello all!
You guys are doing great!! For me the summers have always brought on weight loss just being busier, swimming and eating tons of fruit. I usually don't feel as hungry when it's hot and it's even gotten up to 115! Still drinking my protein shakes...I'm addicted!
So here is me, it's been awhile.

I was thinking I should buy one of those digital scales. Anyone have a recommendation? I want one that is pretty close to what the doctor's scales would say.
Have a GREAT WEEK!!
Adrianne
Hi Adrianne...I know what you mean about the hot summers (I live in the Sacramento area) and not wanting to eat...if only it had helped me get rid of the accumulated fat from the other three season!! lol
As for the scale...I LOVE my Tanita scale. It cost about $120 and is super accurate. Measures everything known to man!! I bought it online at thecompetitiveedge.com. Did I say that I LOVE IT!?!?
