A different way to view your "slow weight loss"
Hey Holly...
I used the surgery weight divided into the lost weight to get the total % lost. So...mine is 70.9(weight lost) divided by 251.5(surgery)= 28.2%. You can also divide the weight already lost by the amount you need to lost overall to get the amount of excess weight you have lost. 70.9(weight lost) divided by 101.5(how much I need to lose overall)=70.2%. I like that number...I have already lost 70% of my excess weight (for my goal).
Does this help?

Hmmm, let's see if I can do this. I started at 285. My current weight is 188, so I have 97 lbs lost so far. I think I get 34% Hmmmm, that's pretty good I guess. I do like the instant gradification idea though, haha. I, too am thankful for this board!!!
