You are doing so AWESOME!!! How is the new exercise program coming?
Well, last week, I decided to try to do everything right... and I did a pretty good job. I got in my protein every day, water except for one day, and exercised 4 times. When I weighed in on Wednesday I posted because I had reached 227... my 100 pound mark. Well, I had high hopes today since I had done EVERYTHING RIGHT this week... and I gained the two pounds back!!! This is the WORST week I have had since the surgery!!! Can you flippin believe that?!?!

I was able to work out 6 days last week..but on only two of them (instead of my goal of three) was I able to work out twice a day. My daughter just started her first job and it keeps me running the streets so I did not have time to do much of anything. I would say that you should keep doing what you are doing right and expect a big week next week! I have been doing really good with not weighing in dbut once a week now. It was hard at first but now...it does not phase me too much. Also we have to remember that the lower I weight gets..the smaller numbers we are going to pull...you know you are knocking on the door to onderland..so get ready to enter shortly!!
I had a pretty good week! My angel told me that the protein I was taking wasn't pure protein. It was a mixture of protein; therefore, my absorption of it was probably minimal. She also told me that I needed to increase it even higher. I take a 1 and ¼ scoop of protein powder (either Body Fortress or Isopure) and add it to 3 - 4 oz of water. I stir it up real good and then I just gulp it down. It takes about 3 or 4 gulps, but I get it down. That combination is about 30 g of protein. I do those 3 times a day, making that 90 g of protein just on supplements alone. I get the rest in through food. For the past week, I averaged about 100 - 130 g of protein a day. I guess it worked because I ended up loosing 5 lbs this week. Have a great week everyone!

Do you know that you and I are exactly on the same track. I started at 272 (I only had to fast 1 day before surgery) and now I'm 210.
I think we are both doing really good.
I'm so excited that my clothes are hanging...but...
today I put on a suit that I just had the pants hemmed last week because they were big but still wearable. What was I thinking?? the jacket was huge and the pants got bigger, so I just wasted money on tailoring and now it's going in the "to give away" pile.
Okay, I know that's a good thing....

Good Morning surgery mate,
I had a great week last week. Last Saturday I went to my vet's office to get my kitty food and I had been thinking something was wrong with my scale so I asked the vet if I could use his. I had been "stuck" at a 91 pound lost for forever. I got on his scale and had lost 102 pounds!!!
Today when I weighed I had lost another 2 pounds.
Here are my states:
HW: 366
LW: 262
CW: 260
I went shopping on Friday and bought size 22 jeans. I have not weighed 260 or wore a size 22 in probably 20 years.
This surgery is one of the biggest blessings I have ever had. I hope everyone had a great week and look forward to this week.
