Can we do an intro for everyone?

Hello all!! I thought since we have some new people, those of us that don't post as much and possibly lurkers, we could do an intro/re-intro for the participants of this board. I'll start: My name is Adrianne, I am 31, with 2 children a girl, 7, and a boy, 5. I have been married to my husband AND the Navy for 14 years. We are a Christian family. I am also a homeschooling Mom. We are currently living in Sicily, Italy but we are native Californians....dude Please share as little or as much as you would like to! Adrianne, My name is Sandy. I am married and have 3 children, Jesse, 26, Jasmine, 16, and Jarrett, 11. I had my surgery on 1/2/07. I have lost 104 pounds!!! I just went today and bought a size 22 jeans. I have not worn a size 22 in probably 20 years. We are leaving tomorrow to drive my daughter to Atlanta. She is going on her annual girl scout trip to ........California!! It is very nice to meet you. Sandy

Hi , My name is Roxanne I am 53.. so older than most of you. I got married at 17 and have been married almost 36 years. I have a son 34, and 2 daughters 31 and 22. I have 2 grandsons 9 and 5 and a granddaughter 14 months. I live in NH and love all 4 seasons we have here. I have lost 75 pounds since I started this journey and am very happy I made this decision. I'm April. I'm 41 and happily married to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 daughter's 15 & 17, and a son who's 22 and married. No grandkids yet. I had my surgery on 1/10/07. HW 265 SW 242 now 169

Hi all. My name is Terrisa and I am 35 yrs old. I am the mother of three kids Nick 15, Savanna 9, and Jaret 7. I have been a Navy wife for 14 years now. I enjoy playing music and scrapbooking though I don't get a lot of time to do either lately. I had my RNY 1/29 and have lost 74 lbs post op and 108 lbs total with my required pre op diet. I live in southern ME and am getting used to having all four seasons again after living in Hawaii three years previously I always check the board but don't post a lot since I don't always have much to add.

My name is Cathryn. I'm a graphic artist. I'm married and have no kids (yet), but I am a crazy cat lady, and I live in Corbin, Kentucky. I had surgery in January of this year, and I've lost 115 lbs! I currently wear a size 22/24. I love music, I am a classically trained pianist, and I am learning to play guitar. (Is that too much info? lol)

Hello Ladies, My name is Genie. I am 58 yrs. old and live in the Philadelphia area. I had my surgery 1/30/07 and have to date lost 65lbs. I have one son 35 yrs old, and a spoiled ****er spaniel named Duchess. I retired from Verizon (phone company) after 32 yrs of service. I like many of you have struggled with my weight a long time, and it was only when health issuses threatened my life that I decided that enough is enough. I've been on ever diet know to man, and had not been successful at any of them until I had the WLS. I feel and look fantastic, and I can't tell you the last time I was able to sit down and cross my legs. LOL I am so happy to still be alive.

I'm Belle, 33, married Jason, 4 kids--Chloe 6, Briar 4, and 16 month old twin girls Haydan and Pieper. (There is a silly picture of my whole crew on our way to a rednack themed party on my profile "Kids" album.) I am a teacher, but job share and just started my summer break. Yippee! I have lost 100 pounds in the last year, 72 since my RNY. I have 67 to go to reach my goal of 160. I feel great and am so thankful to have had this opportunity. Some of my latest victories inldue: I bought a size 18 skirt last week and it fit (I was a 28); I went to an amusement park 2 weeks ago and wasn't afraid to ride any of the rides; I went caving yesterday and was so glad not to stress about if I was too big to get through the tight spots; and I also hiked for 3 miles today and felt awesome! YEAH!

Hi Genie...When did you retire from Verizon. Apparently within the last 7 years. I too am a Verizon employee. I am based in Texas, but I have two employees in the new Basking Ridge, NJ office. They were previously @ 1095 Avenue of America's building before the big sale. Lindy

Hello Everyone! My name is Lori, I am 32 and am happily married to my childhood sweetheart who I fell in love with at 14 years old. We have two boys, Kendall 15, and Bailey 9. I also have the sweetest, smartest and most amazing dog in the world...a 2 year old Boxer named Maxx. Our boys play select baseball so we travel a lot and watch tons of baseball games. I (like many of you) have tried every diet and lost and gained weight back more times than I can count, so this surgery is a tool God gave me to help me keep the weight off. I bought my first pair of size 14 shorts yesterday along with a size 12 shirt. I look and feel great. Glad to learn more about all of you.
