Hey- I finally tried this and I REALLY liked it. Very interesting... A couple of questions though- When they ask for alcohol- are they meaning the real thing or sugar alcohols? When you do your analysis of nutirent and minerals are the majority of your numbers in red? I thought it was really interesting because I thought I was low in protein and I really wasn't, I thought I was high in my calories and I wasn't, I thought I was low in my carbs and I'm not- big surprise!!! Today was a good day for me- some are not so good. So in case anyone else out there hasn't tried some form of tracking- (although I'm thinking I'm the only one that hasn't) this was really easy!!! Hi Holly... I have used Fitday for a while, but I actually just got turned on to a new site called myfitnesspal.com (Thanks, MeltingMama!!). I love it!! It is so easy to use, gives you a current count of calories, fats, carbs, protein...whatever you want to track...so that you always know how much you have to eat to fill your goals for the day, and you can customize the goals to our level of calorie, protein intake. It even tells you how many calories you have earned based on the exercise that you log. Also, you can see graphs/reports for a visual breakdown of your food, fitness, and weight progress. There are tons more cool features about this site...I can't remeber them all. Oh, one more that I do remember now...you can tell the program how agressive you want to be weightloss wise and it will tell you how much exercise and what calories intake it will take to lose 2.6 pounds per week, for example. Very cool!! Check it out. ~Suz

Hi Suzanne, I too read MeltingMama's blog. She's great! I can't seem to get into the habit of logging my food and exercise regularly, but if I did, I prefer myfitnesspal.com as well.

Hey Holly..I too use fitday.com just about every day! I like it too...Yes sometimes my reports shows my nutrients in red..but that is because I don't include my supplements. I would think if I tracked my multivitamin, calicum and b 12, my nutrient levels would be much better. IT really does help to track what you are eating and seeing it in black and white. Keep on tracking!!
