Hey April...
Great to see someone from my neck of the woods (Elk Grove)!!
I am struggling with the snacking, as well, since I started exercising regularly. Plus...that time is drawing near...must.have.chocolate. I am really trying to stay within my daily limits and have done okay, so far.
The hair loss.......I'm in the same boat with you. I think my hair is about to get whacked off...really short. I can't stand seeing long red hairs all over the bathroom, in the drain, on my clothes!!! I just want it to be over with already!! Sadly, we probably have a couple of months to go yet.
Anyway...welcome!!! It will be fun getting to know you.

Hi April, I am new here too. I will have to post my intro soon. I tend to do things backwards!
We had a goodbye "party" at work for a co-worker and they had 3 different kinds of cupcakes. So i pick out a tiny little chocolate mini- cupcake . Boy did I regret it. I had to finish working with the sweats, dizziness and a headache. It SO wasn't worth it for such a tiny cupcake!
Oh and I plan on cutting my locks shorter too. I look at my clothes after brushing my hair and I look like I am molting!
Welcome! I agree about the hair! It's happening me to!
Snacking...my achilles heal!! I have noticed that when I have a meal higher in protein or I up my protein for the day I snack less. I've also been trying to keep myself really busy. If I want to munch not because I'm hungry I've picked up some Craisins. I have yet to beat the snacking thing mentally but I'm trying...we can try together, I'm open for suggestions!!

Nice to meet you. I think this is the best board on OH !! We all seem to be sticking together. I cut my hair short. Can't say it has made much of a difference. I do think I am losing less hair than before. But then again I have never before been a protein lover and always lost hair. Its a wonder i'm not bald. I think snacking will always be with us. I try to choose a cheese stick or SF Pudding. Old habits are hard to break but we are human. Just keep on trying that is all we can do. Have a great weekend. Roxanne
