I weighed in this morning (I always do on Wednesday since that is my "anniversary" day) and I weighed 227. I was excited to be down from Monday's weigh in, and then it struck me that I had reached 100 pounds BUT that is from my highest the year leading up to surgery, not my actual surgery weight which was 299. Anyway, I was so psyched to think that I have lost 100 pounds in the last year! I never count those 28 pounds when I post here, since it was during the months before the surgery, but still... I am so psyched! It is VERY motivating! Just had to share with you lovely people!!!

Bella, You count every single ounce lost!!! Lord knows we would count every single ounce if we gained. I count the 13 lbs I lost the two weeks before surgery...it all counts for something. Does this mean you need to go add some more pounds to the ton tally post???? Congrats to you!!!! Stacy

Thanks ladies! I definitely count it "in my head", but when I reach my post-surgery 100 it will be even more sweet because it will be at 199, and to be back in the 100's.... WAHOO!!!

Congratations !!!!! 100 pounds is 100 pounds. You worked hard for every pound you lost. I count the 16 pounds I lost 2 weeks b/4 surgery..... It was all part of the process and I worked hard for them as well. 100 pounds in 1 year is amazing....Keep up the great work Marta
