so dissapointed I just wanna cry!!
Hi Mary -
I have to agree w/ everyone else, it doesn't look like you doing anything wrong.
I would maybe increase your protein and reduce alittle on the carbs. Also if you don't eat enough your body is going to hold onto anything it can. I know that last week I was very laxed on eating ( I didn't eat enough and actually skipped meals) and it showed on the scale this week as well. I didn't lose anything.
i think that everyone once in awhile our bodies tend to go nuts on us......
Keep up the good work - 98 pounds is still an amazing amount of weight to lose.
Marta
I just want to give you a big ol' hug. You are doing fine and as others have said, it is a normal thing to happen at some point. You WILL lose more weight. I bet by this time next week you will be in the century club. I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished. You should be proud too. Concentrate on the 98lbs you lost, not the 5 you gained. It could have been many reasons for gaining. Was it that time of the month? I always gain at least 2lbs on the day of my period and then lose it in a few days. Maybe you need to increase your protein intake or fluids? How about exercise? Maybe you are building up some muscle which we all know is heavier than fat.
You are doing the right things, just hang in there and you will be at 100 lost in no time.
HUGS
Crystal
Thanks Crystal! I probably do need to up my fluid intake. Thats a struggle for me. Im really gratful for the weight Ive lost, but its so frustrating to be so close and yet sooo far away!! I cant wait till Monday to see if Ive made it to the century club yet...but Im NOT getting on those scales until then!!
Mary
Mary,
This is a part of the process...don't let it get you down.
((((((((((HUGGGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSS))))))))))))))))))
Stay strong! You are doing everything right, but you can always try some of the suggestions mentioned, uping your protein, excersizing more, and stuff like that, but sooner or later it'll get worked out. I had a point a few months back where I had gained 4 or 6 lbs (can't remember exactly) in one day and it took me 2-3 weeks to get back down to where I was. It was discouraging to say the least, and I was teetering around 200lbs at the time and was really looking forward to hitting the 199 mark. Going through all of that took the fun out of reaching Onderland for me, so I know exactly how you feel being so close to that 100 lb milestone and having this happen.
Again, don't feel like this is your fault, it's your silly body freaking out on you.
More hugs....
Lori
