Hi Beth, Welcome to the Jan. Board. Hey looks like your right on track. You have lost almost 60. Before you know it you'll be below 200. I had my surgery a few weeks before you and have lost 52 since surgery and add another 21 before. I count it all because that is where I had to start. So be inspired not depressed. Your doing great ! Have a great week. Roxanne

Hey Beth: Be inspired!! We are all here to help each other out! We have all lost about the same amoutn give or take a few pounds...some weeks some have big losses and the next week, we dont have any loss. But we are inspired because we have seen our fellow Jan members go thru the same thing and then start to lose again! The amount lost depends on so many different factors too.. and I would say the surgey weight is one of the biggest factors...the more you weigh, the fast it seems to come off. But when you look at percentage of weight lost...it is all pretty much the same. Hang in there!!

Stephanie, That's a very good point. You just made me feel a whole lot better. Thank you! I have a bad habit of getting down on myself and we know what that leads to...feelings of wanting to grab onto food for comfort. Good thing I really cannot do much damage anymore and have to figure out ways to channel that hurt. I'm no longer depressed thanks to you. Have a great day.

Hi Stephanie, I don't know what the scale is doing to me, but I'm not going to let it freak me out or send running and screaming! Genie 260 HW 246.5 SW 197.0 LW 201.5 CW

That's the right attitude to have Genie! Stay positive! We the scales have no choice but to move eventually, when we are doing the right things!!

I have been in a stall for the past 3 weeks or so.. I go up or down a pound, then wind up right back where I started. I am going to try walking on the treadmill, see if that helps. HW: 299 SW:288 LW: 238 CW: 238 Lost: 61 lbs My dr wants me down below 22O for my visit in July.. I dont think that is going to happen!!

Hey Jennifer..you just might make it to your 220 goal...after a stall..there is usually a big loss. Here's some fairy dust to get that scale moving!!

Hi Jennifer, I was on a stall for 3 weeks and finally moved 2 pounds this week. Geez it is depressing. I tried to get more water and averaged 80 grams of protein each day last week. I have been walking 2 miles almost everyday for 8 weeks I don't know if it helps or not but it does make me feel better and I am no longer real tired after. Good luck this week and I bet it will move next week. It's no fun when you are doing the right things..is it? I bet you will be down another 18 by July. I will add fairy dust to Stephanie's. Have a Good Week and post next week. Roxanne
