Pecan Cheese Log recipe

2 packages cream cheese at room tempature 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese 2 cans (4 oz) chopped green chilies, drained ¼ cup dried onion flakes, softened in ¼ cup water 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 cups chopped pecans In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chilies, softened onion flakes, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Form into two 8 inch logs, wrap and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Place nuts on waxed paper and roll each log in the nuts. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Oh my...that looks so good!!! Right up my alley! My husband and kids will love it, too. Thanks for the recipe...in fact we are heading to the coast this weekend to camp for 4 days and I may just have to make this to take along. ~Suz
