Some serious sagging goin' on!
Drumroll please...
I just have to say that as of this past Tuesday, I've officially lost a total of 102 pounds, including the 12 lbs I lost during my pre-op diet, and I could not be more thrilled!
On another note, I am really starting to see the signs of rapid weight loss. I am developing laugh lines at the ripe ol' age of 23 years old... and the loose skin is getting saggier! I feel like I need a girdle, lol. Anyone else seeing it too?
[ Please don't mistake me for being too vain. I'm very thankful, and I'll willingly take the bad with the good! But this forum is almost flatlining lately, so I thought it was a worthwhile discussion. ]
Oh, I can just imagine after 102 pounds... and hopefully some day in the near future I will be able to see it first hand! I have lost only 60 and am a decade older than you, but I have noticed things heading south. My boobs, especially are starting to look deflated I did not have much fat on my face/neck area before hand, so I have not noticed new wrinkles, but definitely loose skin.
I am hoping to get to my goal by the end of the year and have plastic surgery over Christmas break. I see now though, that I will need more than a tummy tuck and a breast lift. (I might actually need implants if they keep shrinking at this rate!) I will have to have my upper arms and thighs done as well. Oh well....
Have you thought about PS?
Cathryn,
Well try being my age. I am 53. I am sagging also and the once firm boobs are now wilting!!
I think looking for a good support bra will help lift the girls up. But I know what the other girls are saying. Deflated is the best word. Your so young I would consider plastics after your all done. As far as myself I have been married 36 years and my hubby said who care as long as your healthy. He loves me anyway.
I am thrilled to not need all my medicine but who knows. Some day I may decide to do the tummy and boobs. I guess Joan Rivers is in her 70's and really is into plastic surgery. Her grandson she said calls her Nana New Face. LOL Keep up the good work your doing great.
Roxanne
Thank you Roxanne =]
I guess I thought going into this process, that I was young enough to not need plastic surgery (because my skin still has a lot of elasticity) but I think you're right... I will probably one day be looking into it when I reach goal.
Your hubby sounds like a good guy. That's what my husband says about me, too. "As long as you're healthy...."
Cathryn,
Congrats on the weight loss! Woo Hoo! I am not to far behind you. I am down 97 pounds. And yes, I am seeing the sag.
I walk through the house when only my hubby is there singing:
Do your boobs hang down?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Do your boobs hang down?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Do your boobs hang down?
It drives him nuts....maybe its my voice though. Hmmm.
I am already planning on plastics when the time is right. I see it under my arms and on my upper thighs and of course my belly button warmers (oh, I mean my boobs-or what used to be my boobs). And I am working out like mad to give myself some muscle and tone to reduce the visibility of jiggle.
Oh well, it is just part of the process
Thanks for livening up the board!
