Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Margaret,
Would you like me to knock you off the fence???? I can accidently bump you as I'm wildly sprinkling fairy dust all over you.
I threatened myself with the plateu buster diet last Monday, even bought everything on the list so I wouldn't be tempted to stray...I didn't even get to start it before I was dropping the weight again the next day.....musta been the menacing tone in my voice when I threatened myself....told myself it would not be able to have the daily dose of mandarin oranges that I have been craving for the past 2 months....scared the weight right off myself i guess. haha
though who knows...I could be back on the fence again next week.
Stacy
PLEASE knock me off the fence!!!!!! I'll happily dance around in the fairy dust.
I'm so frustrated! I had decided last week that if I didn't lose I'd be hitting the plateau busters this week...so here I go. I've hesitated because I really don't want to get into the "diet" mentality again, ya know? But feel like I've got to do something. I have lost a few inches off my hips and thighs during the stall, but my tummy hasn't shrunk at all the past few weeks. Argh! So discouraging.
Thanks for the fairy dust shower.
Margaret
I completely understand not wanting to do the "diet" thing again...I felt the same way as I was going through the store buying all the stuff on the list...my 17 year old son, bless his heart, knew how discouraged I was and offered to do the protein only diet with me. Thank goodness, I kicked in and didn't have to go to that extreme...yet.
Maybe your just waiting for me to catch up to you at 222lbs so we can work this together neck and neck. haha
Seriously, I hope you kick in and start losing again in the next day or so..I know how frustrating it is...when I hit the 2 month post op period I stalled for 3 and a half weeks. I was in tears by the last week...I just knew that I was the only person in the whole world that the surgery didn't work for...but, alas, I finally moved on.
I'll be thinking about you. Message me if you would like to talk.
Stacy
Yes, we need to push you right off that fence. Hopefully the inches are coming off in the interim and you just don't realize it.
Keep your chin up and try not to let this get you down. We are all here rooting for you to have success this next week. I think it's great you are considering changing things up a bit to see if you can get some action out of those changes.
Keep us posted on how the plateau buster works. We all may be needing it some day. I fear I may need it sooner than later, since my losses are slowing down a bit.
Here is just a little more dust just in case you need a double dose.
Lindy
Highest Weight 232 lbs
Day of Surgery 228 lbs
Last Week 179.6
This week 177.8
Down another 1.8 lbs. Not as much as I would like, but I will take it.
I was really worried because I did not loose until Sunday and this morning. I was cycling last week, started working out seriously and I guess that is why I did not see weight loss earlier during the week. However, I do feel that I lost a whole lot more in inches than weight, because I slipped into 14's Saturday morning.
Well, I truly believe in the awesome dust. So I am spreading lots to those of you, including me who are working on that next goal that is around the corner. Mine is to hit the 60lb mark. I have 5.8 lbs to go.
Wishing success to everyone on their mini goals for the week or to at least have a WOW moment or two.
