In a Food Rut!
Hi - right now I'm not having that problem ( I did in the past). I have found that i'm able to eat anything I try ( I have not tried sandwich or pasta or rice),but I eat everything my family does, just modify to my needs. I started eating bacon and eggs( 1 over easy egg and 2 slices bacon and fork full of homefries) this has satisfied a craving for normalecy (sp) for me. I also eat alot of salads w/ protein ( chef salad, chicken salad w/ pita chips, tuna w/ pita chips , grilled shrimp/chicken salads... I have even tried reg. pizza - dough and all. I get about a 1/2 a piece down and i'm done.
I don't have the cravings for sweets, cakes, cookies, ect....
I'm actually sick of water and crystal light and diet drinks.... i just found arizona diet geen tea w/ ginsing ... it is soooo good, has a nice sweet taste - not overpowering.
oh and yes I too still have at least 1 protein drink a day.... just to ensure I get it all in.

Well welcome me to the crowd !! I too don't seem to eat a lot and just can't get other things in.
I have an unjury choc. drink every morning 8 oz. of 1% milk and 1 scoop = 28 oz. protein.
Then lunch I have 2 TBL cream of wheat with 1/2 cup water and microwave it then I add 1/2 c. milk and a scoop of unflavored unjury. = 3 protein cream of wheat,
4 oz. protein milk and 20 protein unjury. Total = 27..
So by dinner time I have had 55 grams.
Then I do beans or cheese and maybe a pudding later . I am not a meat eater or seafood. So I have to use protein substitute.
PS.. I may get in 10 mini pretzels a day. My Dr. is not concerned and said not to overeat and stretch my pouch. As far as water goes I have a hard time doing 24 ounces a day. I keep trying. Thanks for posting and giving us an idea of seeing that we are not all alone. Roxanne
