Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Hey Sharon...
Try not to feel discouraged....I think that this has happened to most of us...and for no detectable reason. I guess that our bodies have decided that they get to make the rules! The nerve!! LOL Sometimes it just takes time for good habits to catch up, so just keep up the good work!!
Hugs...Suz
Morning Stephanie and January lovelies!
WTG with your loss Stephanie!
I have felt disappointed in myself this week, I have been eaten tostada shells a couple of times as well as some tortilla chips and pita chips so I think it has slowed my loss WAY down, I am trying to get back on track!
Here are my stats:
Highest Weight 264 lbs.
Day of Surgery 263 lbs
Last Week 202 lbs.
This week 200 lbs
Hi Lea -
I started eating pita chips w/ my protein these past few weeks as well. I try to keep it 3 protein to 1 pita chip(small pita chip). I need that added crunch. I was told by my dr. that this ok - focus mostly on the protein , but if you have to eat carbs - do so w/ protein. I haven't found that it has caused a problem yet. I think that sometimes our bodies need some different food - just to shake it up. Don't beat yourself up about the pitas - unless you ate a whole bag...... which I really don't think could even be possible at this point.
Keep up the great work -
Marta
Hey guys!
I skipped out on last weeks weigh in cuz I was NOT a happy camper it's been a rough couple of weeks for loss but it looks like I might be back on track again. This was my first plateau that lasted this long (about 3 weeks total) and I was getting really frustrated (more like a spoiled little brat actually )... I was down to 202 and in one day went up 4 lbs and keep that on for an extra week. I spent the next week trying to get those 4 lbs back off. I think I'm back to normal now, but I have no clue what was going on. I tried lots of water, lots of protein, and even changing my diet up a bit, but NOTHING until now.
Highest weight 242
Last week 204
This week 201
Still fighting to get under 200, and am thinking there might be some extra water retention right now because of that time of the month, but only time will tell. I have always been the one to say, "well you never could have lost this much weight this fast without surgery, so be happy" but here I am WHINING at 12 weeks because I want it to be faster...someone tell me I'm not alone here!
