I am feeling horrible! My doc doesnt have hours on the weekend so im gonna make an appt on monday. Have you tried any over the counter - pouch safe products? I am all snuffled up and my throat is killing me... i have hardly any voice. I thought it was allergies at first..... but dont think so anymore... any help would be appreciated to get me through the weekend. Thanks.

Sorry Christine, I don't have any advice as far as products except you may ask the pharmacist. I would definitely go for tylanol based products. Well I guess I did have advice. I haven't really come down with anything yet just sinus stuff and headaches. Hope you feel better soon. Anna

On the California Board the recommend all the Tylenol products. I have used the Tylenol Sinus and the Tylenol Cold and had no problem with either. Hope that helps!! Nikki

I had allergies to the point of gagging and called my doc. They said I could take almost any over the counter for congestion as long as: 1. No ibuprofen (motrin) or aspirin. 2. No time released stuff. I ended up using something with guaffenisien in it to help clear my lungs. They particularly mentioned sudafed and any tylenol product as safe to use. Hope this helps. Get well soon. Katy B

Oh gosh, I hope you feel better soon! I used sudafed and Nyquil (spelling?) when I got sick a few weeks back without any problems. Gel-caps are supposed to be okay. Belle

Hi Christine - I was so sick about a month ago as well. I was told we can use anything we used b/4 surgery. I used tylenol liquid medicine and ended up on antibiotics as well. I used sugar free thoat lozenges. Hope you feel better - I know I was flat out for 2 days. If it gets too bad go to an urgent care..... Marta

Hi Christine, I recently had a bout with sinus problems and a sore throat. I called my doctor's assistant about Nyquil because that would always help the sinus problems which the CPAP seemed to make worse. She said Sudafed and the like but stay away from Nyquil as it has a lot of sugar and has been known to cause dumping. I hope you feel better soon. Darlene
