Update on workout and wooooohooo I did lose

Hey everyone. I think the work out definitely helped I got on the scales the next morning and had lost 2 1/2 lbs....wooooohooooo!!! Did my work out again today and I must say I am having more energy during the day. I am still sticking real close to the protein thing. I still have less then 50 grams carbs each day and I also started keeping track of my calories and think I am just not getting enough yesterday I only had 650 calories. Anna

Forgot to add that my foot is getting better every day and I am doing some exercises to help with the tightness and pain I still feel from regular walking. I am able to ride the bike but look forward to being able to do the eliptical. I'll get there Anna

Glad you are doing better with your foot. I have been working out with a trainer this past week. Today, I put on my jeans that were loose and they fell off! Wow. I had only lost 2 pounds this last week but that working out is awesome. Katy

Woooohoooo that is awesome Katy. I have always loved working out but really got out of the habit when I was diagnosed with RA and it was in my feet. I am so happy to be doing it again. Anna

Anna- That's awesome!! I need to exercise more- I'm just lazy. Today I did do a Yoga tape for the first time. I did it with my triplets. When daddy came home they showed him downward dog and mountain pose. Keep up the good work and I'm glad to hear your foot is feeling better... Holly

I'm so glad you're able to start working out again. I really, really think that helps with the losing weight. Congrats. You are doing fantastic!

Good job Anna! I went for a looooong walk with my kids on Tuesday when it was so nice out and I felt so much better on Wednesday. Of course I worked Wed. so I did not exercise. I am going to shoot for 5 times a week. We'll see!!! I think the fact that you are doing less than 50 carbs a day is great! I started journaling again and I found that I seem to range about 60 carbs, 80+ protein, and around 900-1100 calories. Do you know what the targets are supposed to be for this point of the game? You seemed to indicate that 650 is too little calories? Belle

Belle, I'm not sure but I think the calories are 1000 and carbs 50, and protein around80-90g. That is what I try for anyway. Anna

AWESOME Anna!!!! Sounds like you're eating about what I am. Sometimes I shoot up to 800 or 1000 calories, but that's on a really out of the ordinary day. I was pretty excited yesterday because I was able to do 30 sweaty minutes on the eliptical. When I first started working out I could only do maybe 5 and that killed me! Feels great, doesn't it????
